Register of Companies & Individual Enterprises :

Business registration operates as a single-point integrated service. Once you complete your business registration, you have also completed tax registration with the Rwanda Revenue Authority, employer registration with the Social Security Fund of Rwanda and notification of business activities to the National Institute of Statistics of Rwanda.

There is no registration fee for online services, this service is provided free of charge.

This integrated registration is achieved through the filling of a consolidated application form covering all the information required for registration and notification with the relevant agencies.

Business Registration is concluded by the issuance of a business registration certificate which has a unique enterprise code that acts as a unique identifier of the business in relation to any public agency. The Enterprise/Company code is also the tax identification number (TIN).

The business registration services cover all businesses determined by the Company Law No 07/2009 of 27/04/2009 and/or the Ministerial Order N° 02/09/MINICOM of 08/05/2009.

The filling of the consolidated application form can be performed by either:
Submission of the complete form together with the required attachments, physically at the Office of the Registrar General at RDB, Kigali or at any of its 8 district offices:

Online Business Registration :

The online registration service covers the registration of:
** Companies, both domestic and foreign
** Enterprises operated by an individual trader
** Amendments to the registered information on a business
** Filing of annual returns and reports

The online service allows you to also check the status of your application(s).

E-signature :

The online registration is perfected by the use of an e-signature provided by ORG upon your request (Step 1 of the online application). The same e-signature can be used for the filing of several applications or annual returns. It is however for security reasons recommended that you periodically request a new e-signature. If you have forgotten your e-signature, click on “Forgot e-signature” and a new e-signature will be assigned and sent to you by e-mail.

The online service can only be accessed by the e-signature assigned to you by ORG.

No physical paper submissions :

When using the online service, you may not submit any documents on hard paper to ORG. All documents, including the completed consolidated application form and the prescribed attachments must all be scanned and sent as attachments on the online service.
