Prime Minister’s Youth Skills Development Programme
Brief Description:
Aimed at training unemployed youth of Pakistan for acquiring productive skills for gainful employment.

Eligibility Criteria:
All young men/women aged up to 35 years with middle level education shall be eligible.
Geographical Spread:
All over Pakistan.
Fees Support:
On average fee support would be Rs.3,000 per month for six months
Stipend:
Rs.2,000 per month for six months.
On the Job Training:
One month on the job training would be included in the 6-months program
Number of Trainees:
25,000
Training Program:
Training in over 100 standard modules in trades commonly in demand both at home and abroad.
Important Stats:
Almost 22000 students have graduated in the first phase of the program.
NAVTTC plans to launch a small training program for almost 3000 new students by utilizing Rs. 85 Million saved out of Rs. 800 Millions allocated for the first phase of the program.
Executing Agencies:
NAVTTC/Ministry of Education and Trainings, in collaboration with Provincial TEVTAs and other Government/Private Sector Skills Training Institutes which will also design the program and final evaluation form

Standardized training modules of trades with a global demand will be offered. The duration of each will be six months.
