Target Groups and Application Eligibility:
Persons who meet the requirements of the “Regulations on Pleasure Craft Navigation” approved by Decree-Law No. 82/99/M of 15 November.
Application Approach: In person.
Required Document:
1. Application form for pleasure boat driver licence (Format N1/DET);
2. Two 1 1/2-inch recent colour photos with white background showing your full frontal face without any head covering;
3. Copy of I.D. (original copy to be presented);
4. Physical Fitness Certificate (Format N3/DET);
5. Supporting documents of class acquisition;
6. Persons aged below 18 must possess a written approval which has passed a handwriting test from a person eligible to exercise parental rights;
7. Proof of address(such as electricity/water bill).

Payment Notice:
1. By cash or cheque;
2. When payment is made by cheque, please make the cheque payable to “Direcção dos Serviços de Assuntos Marítimos e de Água” and it must comply with Paragraph 3 of Article 5 of No.22/2008 Administrative Regulations, of 4 August, and must be a certified cheque;
3. If the applicant is a public administration worker, the original copy of his/her work declaration form issued by his/her institution has to be presented. Pursuant to the provisions of the “Stamp Duty Regulations” approved by Decree-Law No. 17/88/M, republished by the Dispatch of the Chief Executive No. 218/2001, published in the Official Gazette of Macao SAR, No. 44, Series I, 2nd Supplement, of 29 October 2001, stamp duty is exempted.

1. Applicants applying for a captain’s licence of coastal-going vessel must possess the qualification of a “seaman”;
2. Applicants applying for a captain’s licence of ocean-going vessel must possess the qualification of a captain of coastal-going vessel.
