My vehicle is included in this recall. Is it safe to drive?:
When the U.S. National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) Administrator was asked this question during a press conference in May 2015, he encouraged customers to bring their vehicles in for service as soon as they are notified that parts are available and said that they should continue to drive their vehicles until then.
How do I know if my vehicle is a high-risk vehicle?:
Both NHTSA and Takata have indicated that the highest risk vehicles include older vehicles in the areas with most exposure to a combination of both high humidity and high temperatures, such as the southern gulf coast of the United States.
I’m concerned that my airbag isn’t safe. Should I disable my airbag?:
NHTSA does not recommend disabling airbags.
What is the expected repair?:
Dealers will replace the airbag inflator in affected vehicles at no cost to our customers.
Are you providing loaner vehicles while customers wait for parts?:
No. Ford is not providing loaner vehicles at this time.
Will my vehicle have its airbag inflators replaced again?:
Some airbag inflators being used as replacements may be effective for several years, but not for the full life of your vehicle and might have to be replaced again. If that’s the case, you will be notified by mail when those parts are available.
Where can I get more information about this issue?

How to add engine coolant :
When your engine is running, it makes power—but it also makes heat. And that’s where engine coolant comes in. Coolant circulates through the engine and absorbs heat, helping keep the engine at the right operating temperature.
Coolant also helps keep your engine working as efficiently as possible, helps keep its emissions low, and even helps provide that toasty heater air on cold days.
You should check your vehicle’s coolant level every time you fill up the fuel tank. And if you ever need to add coolant, here’s how to do it.
