Border Order a Replacement ImmiCard
** Replacement cards are delivered by registered post to the card holder’s residential address.
** The replacement card will always be issued with the same details as the original ImmiCard.
** If you would like to replace a lost, damaged or stolen ImmiCard, you can order a replacement card online.

Personal details of card applicant :
** Please provide at least one of the following Department of Immigration and Border Protection identifiers.
** You must enter at least one of these numbers to assist the department to correctly identify the card applicant.
** These numbers are located on documents that the department has provided to the card applicant, for example their visa grant notice.
Proof of identity :
** Please attach at least one certified copy of the following photo identification
** A current passport, Australian drivers License, proof of age card, Australian ImmiCard
OR
Please attach at least one certified copy of the following –
** visa grant notice, change of name certificate, Medicare card, pension concession card, a current bank or credit card
** And Attach photo of cardholder
The photograph must be :
** no more than six months old
** a full-face view of the cardholder’s head and shoulders (untinted prescription glasses can be worn – a photograph that shows the facial features only is acceptable if the cardholder wears a head-covering for religious reasons), and
** of good quality, in colour, against a plain, light coloured background.

What do I need to order a replacement card?
** You can order a replacement ImmiCard through our website.
** You will need to provide your personal details and visa grant details found on the Visa Grant Notice you were given when your visa was granted.
** You will also need to provide your up-to-date Australian postal address.
** It is important that you enter your details exactly as they appear on the Visa Grant Notice.
** You will also need to prove your identity by attaching certified copies of identity documents to your application.
** If none of the identity documents you provide has a photograph, you will need to attach a recent photograph of yourself with your application.
Who can certify my documents?
** In Australia, copies of documents can be certified by officials, such as a magistrate, justice of the peace or bank managers.
** A full list of occupations can be found online.
** We will also accept a stamped certification from your service provider.
** A post office can scan and certify documents, and take your photograph (which you might need to attach to your application to prove your identity).
