2) Hardcopy :

FIU First Time in College Applicants :
** The Redesigned SAT will be launched by the College Board in March .
** FIU will accept both the current SAT and the redesigned SAT with the Essay for the 2016-17 admission cycle.
** FIU will continue to superscore the SAT.
** We will continue to require the SAT Essay for the class of 2016; it will not be required for the class of 2017 forward.
FIU First Time in College Applicants :
** Applicants can begin applying July 1, 2016. At that time the admission requirements and concordance between the SAT pre-March 2016 and the redesigned SAT post-March 2016 will be announced along with the admission criteria.
Minimum scores for each SAT or ACT section are :
** SAT – Critical Reading = 460
** ACT – Reading = 19
** SAT – Mathematics = 460
** ACT – Mathematics = 19
** SAT – Writing = 440
** ACT – English with Writing = 18
** For all first time in college applicants, admission decisions are made on completed applications using a students weighted high school GPA, SAT or ACT scores, academic rigor of high school course work and strength of academic schedule.

To apply, please submit the following –
** Online Application
** $30 application fee
** If you have less than 60 transferable credits, you must also submit your high school transcripts and SAT and/or ACT scores in addition to any transcripts fro post-secondary schools to the Office of Undergraduate Admissions.
** CLEP, AP, and IB scores must be sent separately if AA degree has not been posted to transcripts.
** Official high school and/or college transcripts
