** Your default password is your date of birth in the format – dd/Mon/YYYY
** Your password is Case Sensitive. You must Capitalize the first letter of the MONTH.
Therefore, if your:
** Date of birth = April 20, 2015
** Your password = 20Apr2015
** Once you log in to myaccounts.fiu.edu, you will need to reset your password.
** Be sure to set your security questions.
** This will allow you to change your password in the future.

Transfer Students Steps to Apply :
To apply, please submit the following :
** Online Application
** $30 application fee
** If you have less than 60 transferable credits, you must also submit your high school transcripts and SAT and/or ACT scores in addition to any transcripts from post-secondary schools to the Office of Undergraduate Admissions. CLEP, AP, and IB scores must be sent separately if AA degree has not been posted to transcripts.
** Official high school and/or college transcripts
*Missing residency information will prevent you from registering for classes if admitted.
FIU accepts transcripts in the following ways :

** Faster (All FL public institutions)
** Naviance (Typically used by private HS schools)
** SMART/Joint Service Transcript – Military records

Note :
** Transcripts received by FIU become the property of FIU and will not be returned to the applicant or forwarded to any other institution. Please do not send us your original transcript/diploma if you have no other copies.
** Admissions decisions are made on a space-available basis as applications are completed and all supporting documents are recieved. In order to be invited to apply for merit scholarships you must be admitted prior to November 1 and meet minimum scholarship criteria.
Re-Admission Undergraduate Students :
** An admitted degree-seeking student who has not enrolled in any course at the University for three (3) or more consecutive terms, excluding military withdrawals, will be required to apply for re-admission.
** The student must meet the University and program regulations in effect at the time of re-admission. Students must apply for readmission online. To begin your online application, click here.
