Birth Certificates :
** We have birth certificates for births taking place from July 1, 1907 to the present.
** If you want a certificate for a birth that took place before July 1, 1907
** If the birth took place in King, Pierce, and Spokane, contact the Washington State local health departments and districts.
** For all other counties please contact the county auditor’s office in the county where the event occurred.
Death Certificates :
** We have death certificates from July 1, 1907 to the present.
** If you want a certificate for a death that took place before July 1, 1907
** If the death took place in King, Pierce, and Spokane, contact the Washington State local health departments and districts.
** For all other counties please contact the county auditor’s office in the county where the event occurred.
Marriage Certificates :
** We have marriage certificates for marriages taking place from January 1, 1968 to the present.
** For marriages that took place in the last two months, obtain a certificate from the county auditor’s office where the marriage license was obtained.
Divorce Certificates :
** Divorce decrees are several page documents explaining the terms of the divorce.
** Divorce certificates are a one-page document stating two parties were divorced on a specific date.
** We have divorce certificates for divorces taking place from January 1, 1968 to the present.
** We do not have copies of divorce decrees.
** For divorces that took place in the last two months OR before January 1, 1968, or for copies of divorce decrees, contact the county clerk where the divorce was finalized
