Requirements :
** One recently taken colored passport size photo with white background

NB :
** Electronic foreigner ID card should be applied for on the same time with residence permit applications for first and renewal applicants
** Photo and biometric taking is done at the head offices of the Directorate General of Immigration and Emigration
Information For Applicants Specific To Sub-Class A1:
Investor In Prospecting And Mining :
Eligible Person :
** This residence permit is issued to a foreigner considered as an investor intending to engage in prospecting for minerals, mining or any other related activities in Rwanda. The investor must have been certified by Rwanda Development Board (RDB).
Dependants :
** Eligible dependants may accompany the principal applicant but will have to apply for M2 residence permit.
Where To Apply :
** At the Directorate General of Immigration and Emigration Offices
** At the RDB One Stop Centre.
Travel Document:
** Any genuine and recognized travel document valid not less than 6 months.
Permit Fees: 100,000 Rwf
Validity Of Permit : 3 years
Certificate Of Good Conduct (Police Clearance):
** Applicants are required to provide a certificate of good conduct from recognized law enforcement authority of the country they have been residents for the last 6 months.
** This certificate should be original and has to indicate whether the applicant has not had any criminal convictions.
Permit Extension : This permit may be extended upon application.
Change Of Status : Change of status is allowed
Working In Rwanda : Business is permitted
Number Of Entries: Multiple entries
Transcription :
** For the applicant whose permit is in the expired or lost passport, will pay 10,000Frw for the permit to be transferred in the new passport.
Requirements:
** One colored passport size photo with white background, recently taken without glasses, caps and scurf. The photo should be attached to the application form by use of glue stick. Stapling and clipping the photo to the application form is not advisable.

Renewal Requirements :
