** requesting account information with an SMS
Using a mobile payment, you can transfer money in an instant to the account of a family member or friend. You just need to know the mobile number of the beneficiary of the payment.
A mobile payment is received immediately, including on weekends and public holidays as well as between different banks providing the service (at the moment, only SEB and Swedbank offer mobile payments).
You can make a mobile payment if you and a payment beneficiary have concluded a contract for the Mobile Bank (mobile payment contract at Swedbank).
A contract can be concluded at a branch or via the Internet Bank. You can start making payments on the business day following the conclusion of your contract; an SMS to this effect will be sent to your mobile.
Mobile payments only work in an Estonian mobile network. No mobile payments can be made abroad. Under SEB Plans, mobile payments are free, with your call charged at the special rate of your mobile network operator.
How to make a mobile payment?
Using a mobile payment, you can transfer money to any mobile owner that has concluded a contract for the Mobile Bank.
** After the 1214 service number, enter the mobile number of the payment beneficiary and the payment amount (if the amount includes cents, then euros*cents: indicate 12 euros and 5 cents, for example, like this: 12*05).
If, for instance, the payment beneficiary’s mobile phone number is 5765 4321 and the payment amount is 12 euros, enter the sequence of numbers of asterisks below on your mobile to make a Mobile Bank payment and press the key to make a call.
** If the payment amount includes cents, enter these as double digits. If there are no cents, they need not be indicated.
** You can terminate a transaction by using the # key or by ending your call.
** To confirm the payment, enter the security code for mobile payments.
** The payment will hit the beneficiary’s account immediately, regardless of the payment beneficiary’s bank.
** You can check your last transaction by calling 1214*2.
Mobile payment security :
** Do not give your security code to third parties!
** The use of a mobile payment is protected by a security code which you must memorise after concluding your contract. If you concluded the contract at a branch, destroy the sheet with the security code you received there.
If you suspect that third parties have obtained your security code, terminate your existing contract immediately and conclude a new one with the bank.
** In the event of the termination of your contract with a mobile network operator (closure of the number), the theft of a mobile or its loss, your Mobile Bank contract must be definitely terminated.
** Mobile Bank services can be used only via the mobile containing the SIM card linked to the mobile number specified in the contract.
** Select a reasonable payment limit.
** In the contract, you can specify daily and monthly limits for payments.
