** M-PASS is an ETC (Electronic Toll Collection) card used for paying toll of Motorway Route 7 (Bangkok – Chonburi) and Motorway Route 9 (Kanchanapisek road (East) Bangna – Bang Pa-In), which would make your transportation more quick and convenient.

** A set of M-PASS consists of one TAG to attach to windshield and one VISA e-Money card. The VISA e-Money card does not require a bank account and can both pay toll for Motorway Route 7 (Bangkok – Chonburi) and Motorway Route 9 (Kanchanapisek road (East) Bangna – Bang Pa-In) as well as make payment at VISA points of sales nationwide.

** The card consists of two wallets; M-Pass wallet and e-Money wallet. The M-Pass wallet can be used in paying for the toll while the e-Money wallet can be used in purchasing products /services in shops that accept VISA card and can be used as an ATM card to withdraw/transfer/make payment.

** The money recharged to M-Pass wallet and e-Money wallet belongs to the cardholder in the form of electronic wallet’s balance.

** Cardholders may recharge M-Pass wallet and e-Money wallet with no service fee via three payment channels.

** Minimum first recharge for M-Pass wallet is 1,000 Baht. For subsequent recharges, minimum recharge is 500 Baht at 500 Baht intervals, for example, 500, 1000, 1500, 2000 Baht. Maximum recharge is 5,000 Baht and the balance may not exceed 10,000 Baht.

** For e-Money wallet, the minimum recharge is 100 Baht and the daily limit for deposit/withdraw is 30,000 Baht.

1. How many types of Krung Thai shares and what are they?
Public Limited Companies Act section 98 and Bank’s Regulation clause 38 stated that “The committee shall hold shareholders’ annual general meeting four months since the end date of accounting period of (name of the company)”.

For KTB, we hold shareholders’ annual general meeting on April every year as such Act and Regulation stated and will announce meeting date and agenda via SET IT system including send meeting’s notice and documents within the period as provided by law.

3. How can I do if I need to open L/C with Krung Thai Bank?
You can contact the credit line department to open L/C at the branch offering services or local business office after the credit line was approved by the bank.

To send L/C requirement, you have to submit the application for opening letter of credit (L/C) at International Trade Department, Headquarters or International business center of all 19 branches

4. Who are Krung Thai’s shareholders?

5. When will ATM that accept Chip Card be ready for use?
According to BOT timeline, ATMs must be able to accept Chip Card from 16 May 2016 onwards and all ATMs must accept Chip Card by the end of year 2016.
