If I have less than 10 employees, can I use CPF e-Submission?
CPF e-Submission is suitable for all employers regardless of the number of employees you have.
Currently employers with 11 or more employees have to pay a Processing Fee (PF) of $7 per employee per month if they submit their CPF contribution details using hardcopy Payment Advices. The same processing fees might apply to smaller employers in time to come.
What if I already have a payroll system or vendor to perform CPF submission? Can I still use CPF e-Submit@web?
You can use the File Transfer Protocol (FTP) function through your payroll system to submit CPF. You can just export the CPF contribution details from your existing payroll system into an electronic file, and upload the file via ‘CPF e-Submit@web(FTP)’.
What do I need to e-submit?
The requirements may vary depending on the mode of CPF e-Submission that you select, but in general, this is all you need to perform CPF e-Submission :

** Approved mode of payment (Direct Debit/eNETS)
** Registered user with CPF Board for CPF e-Submission

What are the operating hours for the CPF e-Submission service?
CPF e-Submission service is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, including public holidays.
How long does it take to convert to CPF e-Submission?
Our service standard for processing of e-submission registrations is 3 working days for both online and hardcopy applications. However, the processing time excludes the time (usually within 21 working days) the bank takes to approve the Direct Debit Authorisation application.
If there are no delays in the processing of your Direct Debit Authorisation application, you should be able to convert to CPF e-Submission and make payment within one month.
How is the Processing Fee calculated?
The Processing Fee (PF) is calculated based on the number of employee records in the hardcopy Payment Advice for each relevant month of submission.
For example, if Company ABC submits a hardcopy Payment Advice with 50 employee records for a month, the PF would be 50 x $7 = $350.
What is a Processing Fee?
All employers are encouraged to submit their CPF contribution details electronically. As such, employers who have more than 10 employees have to pay a Processing Fee (PF) of $7 per employee per month if they submit CPF contribution details using hardcopy Payment Advice.
The Board will be imposing the PF on employers with 4 or more employees in time to come.
