CORENET e-Submission system (eSS) is a G2B (Government to Business) internet-based system that enables industry professionals to submit project related electronic plans and documents to regulatory authorities for approval within a secured environment.

Frequently Asked Questions
1. Are there any exemptions for applying licence for an outdoor advertising sign / signboard?
Based on the Building Control (Outdoor Advertising) Regulations, exemptions apply only for the following cases :
1. Any single signboard or a series of related signboards with a total area of not more than 5m2
2. Signboard displayed by :
** any religious body
** any Government-aided school
** any hospital, clinic, dispensary, nursing or welfare home or hospice, run by any charity (whether registered under the Charities Act (Cap. 37) or otherwise)
3. any advertisement or signboard displayed :
** on any stall within a hawker centre, food centre or market
** in any underpass, tunnel or mass rapid transit station
4. The exhibition of any poster, banner or advertising in respect of any parliamentary election or presidential election in accordance with the Parliamentary Elections Act (Cap. 218) or the Presidential Elections Act (Cap. 240A)
2. Does my Company need to apply for a Builders’ License?
If your works require BCA’s approval, you will need to be a licensed Builder in order to carry out the works.
3. How to register as a General Builder or Specialist Builder?
Application for the General / Specialist Builder Licence is done online via the Electronic Builders Licensing & Contractors Registration Systems
4. What are the CRS requirements?
The main requirements for company to register under Contractors Registration System (CRS) are :
** Financial capability (valid audited accounts, paid-up capital, net worth, etc)
** Relevant technical personnel (full-time employed, recognised professional, technical qualification, valid licenses, etc)
** Management certifications (SAC Accredited ISO9000, ISO14000, OHSAS 18000, etc)
** Track record (valid projects with documentation proof, endorsed and assessed by clients)
5. How long is the training and how much will it cost?
The training will be conducted over one full day (7 hours) and will costS$330.00 per person after GST.
