Based on its faith in the importance of utilizing technology to facilitate and accelerate the work of health institutions spreading in the Kingdom in general, and those located at the areas of performing Hajj in particular, the Ministry of Health takes pride in launching “Eijad” System for Pilgrims’ Health Services on the Worldwide Web (the Internet) with a view to serve the pilgrims and institutions of the pilgrims’ guidance and Hajj campaigns as from the Hajj season of 1431AH.
“Eijad” System represents the completion of the efforts that the Ministry initiated in the realm of utilizing technology to secure health services to pilgrims, where the system is linked to all hospitals involved and located in the areas of Hajj performance (Makkah and Medina).
The Aim of “Eijad” System :

** The system runs on the Internet, therefore all those who can have access to the Internet may use the system without any restrictions.
** Alerts the reporters, via mobile phone and email, of cases that match with the information of persons whose missing has been reported.
** Helps hospitals to search for matches between the persons in these hospitals’ records and the reports made by the pilgrims and institutions of the pilgrims’ guidance and Hajj campaigns.
** Secure communication between the injured and missing persons registered with these hospitals and the institutions of the pilgrims’ guidance and Hajj campaigns.
** Help find missing and injured persons without the need to check at the hospitals.
