What are Graduate Applications?
Graduates seeking to work as health practitioners in Australia must be registered before joining the workforce and practising in the profession.
Students who are about to complete National Board-approved programs of study can apply for health practitioner registration four to six weeks before completing their course.
AHPRA has put in place systems to make registration for graduates as streamlined as possible, by accepting online applications from students graduating mid-year or at the end of the year.
Three steps to apply for registration :
** Create your AHPRA account.
** Complete your online application and upload your supporting documents.
** Pay and submit your application.
Your application for registration will be assessed while we wait for your education provider to advise us that you are eligible to graduate. AHPRA will contact you if more information is needed and/or to confirm your registration.
New graduates registered with their profession’s National Board are eligible to start work as soon as their name is published on the national register.
