Pension Certificate For Military Pensioner :
Three types of pension certificates are available to military pensioners :
** Certificate showing pension payment amount
** Certificate not showing pension payment amount

The military pensioner may request for a certificate online.
Application Process:
Follow these steps to apply for a pension certificate online :
** Load the online application.
** Enter all the required information, including the pensioner’s ID and service number.
** Select the language and number of copies required.
** Enter delivery and notification preferences.
** Submit request and pay appropriate fees.

Additional Information :
** On-site collection of certificate is free of charge. A fee of QR15 applies for personal delivery. A fee of QR10 applies for post office pickup.
** Certificates are granted at the request of the employee (Qatari employee or worker), without any liability to the General Retirement and Social Insurance Authority.
FAQs :
What if the service period of the employee or the worker is less than (15) years in cases where the Law requires the availability of such period or less than (5) years in the cases of job cancellation or non- disciplinary service termination?
In this case either an employee or a worker is appointed in any entity that is subjected to the Law or request for contribution revert of the (5%)that is previously deducted from his salaries during his service.
If he paid premiums for the combined or purchased period, the ratio of (15%) is retuned unless he requires continuing the premiums payments. in the latter case; the pension would be paid only after payment of the last installment of these premiums and the availability of other conditions for the payment of the pension.
Is it permissible for the pensioner to waive his pension for others?
The pension is paid by the GRSIA to who meets the conditions of eligibility and may not be waived for others. Plus, it is not permissible for those who deserve a share of the pension to waive it for the other beneficiaries or others.
Is it permissible for the pensioner to request for previous apposition or notional period purchase after he had received the pension?
The main term of accepting the request of a period apposition or purchase is working to a subject employer when submitting the request. If the service ends, he has no right to request for period apposition or purchase, nor his beneficiaries after the pensioner or the contributor death.
Is it permissible for the beneficiaries to request for a period apposition or purchase to be added to the actual service period?
No, because the main term of accepting the request of the employee or the worker for a period apposition or purchase is working to a subject employer when submitting the request.
