Issue Residence Permit Based On Birth Certificate :
** There are some special conditions for non-Qatari residents to obtain a Residence Permit for a newborn child. If the child is born in Qatar to foreign parents, the birth certificate will be granted by the National Health Commission.

That can be used to obtain a Residence Permit, as long as the parents also provide copies of their own passports, which must include the companion’s name and entry visa.
** A valid ID from the sponsor is also required.
** Children born in Qatar must be added to the residency of their mother or father within two months of birth.
Application Process :
Follow these steps to apply for a Residence Permit for a newborn :
** Load the online application form.
** Enter ID number and select “Next” to confirm.
** Complete form in Arabic and add the name in English as written in passport.
** Provide newborn’s birth certificate, along with parents’ passports and proof that the child entered Qatar as a companion.
** Choose delivery option.
** Pay appropriate fees online.
