This service allows obtaining an Insured and Registered in the Public Institution for Social Security Certificate stating the employer and the salary being insured

Eligibility or Criteria :
** The applicant must be insured in the Public Institution for Social Security
** The applicant or his agent with a power of attorney must attend the procedures in person
** The applicant must pay the due contribution amounts, for the applicants owning commercial licenses who are insured according to the Provisions of Part V and for the applicant employees outside Kuwait

Procedures :
Visit, the applicant or his agent, the Certificate Section at the main building of the Public Institution for Social Security located in ElMerqab, ElSour Street or one of its branches (Meshrif Branch located at Mubarak AlAbdullah district near the International Exhibition Fairgrounds, or Gharnata Branch located at Gharnata district Gamal AbdEl Nasser Street near the Saving and Credit Bank, or Liberation Tower Branch) and submit the required documents(morning or afternoon) Or, apply for the Certificate using the electronic service link on the Public Institution for Social Security website

The social security system in Kuwait has a number of characteristics, the most prominent of which are

This means that the system covers all productive sectors in society, and that they enjoy the same rights and benefits.

Benefits & Efficiency :
1. Retirement Pension :
** The social security system in the State of Kuwait is characterized by comprehensiveness, unity and considerable security benefits.

Moreover, the retirement pension is considered the most prominent right secured by the Social Security Law in respect of the insured persons, and we may proceed further to state that the retirement pension constitutes the main objective which the social security aims at.

i. In case of old-age, the insured person shall be entitled to retirement pension which can reach to a minimum of :
** (65%) of the last salary with contribution period (15 years) which shall be raised to (75%) regarding military staff.

** In the event of death, total invalidaty or disability depriving the inability to earn, the beneficiary shall be entitled to a retirement pension which may reach (95%) of the relevant salary without stipulating any contribution period, and shall be raised up to (100%) with regard to military staff.

** As for the maximum pension, it shall reach up to (95%) of the relevant salary, with (30 years) contribution period which shall be raised up to (100%) with (27.5) service years in respect of the military staff.
