Inquiry Facility :
The Inquiry facility enables the customer to view the activities which he/she had performed using internet banking. These inquiries include financial transactions such as payments made and non-financial transactions such as the request of a new Cheque book.

Customer Communication (Messages) :
The messages functionality on internet banking facilitates internal customer communication from Stanbic bank with the customer. The Stanbic bank relationship managers create various communications and send this to the customer via internet banking.

View Messages :
Stanbic bank messages sent by the relationship manager and/or other bank entities can be viewed by the customer.

How to register :
To register follow the easy steps below :
Step 1 : Visit your nearest branch.
Step 2 : Complete the registration form and submit to the customer care consultant.
Step 3 : The customer care consultant will verify the necessary information.
Step 4 : Once your internet banking profile has been approved, Stanbic bank will furnish you with a temporary password which you will need to change upon your first logon attempt.

How do I get a password :
To get a password, you have to register for Internet banking .The bank will furnish you with a temporary password which you will need to change upon your first logon attempt. This password will be valid for 12 Hours from time of registration.
You must have a valid Standard Bank account to register for Internet banking

What are the criteria for creating a password :
Your password must be between 6 and 16 characters long.
Your password must contain at least 1 alphabetical character or 1 number and special character.
The password is case-sensitive.

How to log on :
To log on to Internet banking you need to :
Step 1 :Go to the homepage (www.stanbicbank.co.tz) and click on Internet banking in the top right-hand corner
Step 2 : Enter your User ID and password
Step 3 : Click on login

The Home screen displays all accounts linked to your profile. This screen enables you to view the latest balances on all these accounts. The menu on the left of the page enables you to perform many other useful functions such as accessing your statements, paying beneficiaries, transferring funds between your accounts, communicating with your branch, and you can even open and manage investment accounts, and even send payment confirmations to your beneficiaries.
