SLTDA Apply for ‘Safe & Secure’ Certification
The Sri Lanka Tourism Development Authority has appointed KPMG-Sri Lanka as the independent professional body to carry out/conduct assessments of SLTDA registered tourism service providers who are willing to undergo the audit process to obtain the ‘Safe & Secure’ certification.

On successful completion of the audit process by the KPMG, the final review and certification will be done by the Ministry of Health, Sri Lanka.
How to Apply?
Those who are willing to apply. please fill and submit the online application. Just follow the below steps to apply for ‘Safe & Secure’ Certification.
Steps :
Step 1 : Visit the official website of Sri Lanka Tourism Development Authority through provided above.
Step 2 : Read the instructions carefully and click on the “Click Here” button at the end of the page.
Step 3 : Fill the application form with the following details,
i. Select the Type of Entity *
** Accommodation Sector
** Stand alone Restaurant, Cafe and Cafeteria
** Tourist Shop
** Spa / Wellness / Ayurveda treatment facility
** Travel Agency / Tour Operator / DMC
** Tour Guide / Driver
ii. Enter the Organisation Name *
iii. Enter your Address *
iv. Enter the Key Contact Person Name *
v. Enter the Key Contact Person Tel No *
vi. Enter the Key Contact Person E – mail *
vii. Enter the No. of Employees *
viii. Enter the SLTDA Registration No. *
ix. Enter the Last Licence renewable year *
x. Select We are willing to undergo the audit process for the “Safe & Secure” certification requirement * Yes
Step 5 : Finally click on the “Submit” button to complete the application.
Registration Fee
There will be no assessment fee for the first audit attempt, but in case of a failure, the costs of the subsequent assessments should be borne by the individuals and establishments.
Online Payment Guidelines
Pay Inspection Fee :
Step 1 : Please click the [pay now] button for payment option page.
Step 2 : Please choose your payment option. If you choose your payment by [Visa or Master Card] please select and click the [proceed] button.
Step 3 : After successful payment you will see this page and receive a sms and email.
Step 4 : If you choose [Bank Deposit] for payment method please click proceed.
Tourism Business Licensing Service :
Step 1 : Please click [Generate] button for generate the payment reference no.
Step 2 : After generating the payment reference number go to the bank and fill out the bank deposit slip with following account details and deposit the relevant amount as shown in the page.
Note : Please write the payment reference number in your deposit slip clearly.
Step 3 : After depositing the relevant amount to the bank please login and validate your payment as below. Please Click the [Validate] button.
Step 4 : You can scan and upload your deposit slip here and click save button for finalize your payment.
Step 5 : After saving your payment you will receive an email and sms from OTBLS. You will also receive sms and email regarding confirmation your payment with the bank.
