If you purchase products from us, we request certain personally identifiable information from you on our order form. You must provide contact information (such as name, email and delivery address) and financial information (such as credit card number and expiration date).

Procedures for Ordering :
Placing an order :
Once you have selected the product/s you wish to buy and submitted your online order, you will be shown an order summary page and given the opportunity to review the ordered items and correct any mistakes, before proceeding. By clicking on the “Place order” button you will have confirmed your online order which constitutes an offer to purchase the product subject to these Terms and Conditions.
Confirming an Order :
Once we have received your online order, we will formally confirm or notify you of our acceptance of the order via email. However, technical or other problems may delay or prevent such confirmations. PLEASE DO NOT send an additional order if you do not receive confirmation from us as this may lead to a duplicate transaction. Should you not have received your order within 5 business days, please contact us on 0860 777 289 or send an email to redsquareinfo AT edcon.co.za.
Cancellation of an Order :
You cannot currently cancel an order once you have clicked the “Place order” button and payment is processed. However, you are entitled to return the product subject to the terms and conditions of the Refund and Exchange policy. Click here to view.
Red Square reserves the right to refuse to accept or process payment on any order, and may cancel any order if we reasonably suspect that fraud is being perpetrated on your account. However, we accept no liability which may arise as a result of our refusal to process any order.
Delivery Information :
Delivery Cost :
We charge a standard delivery fee of R45.00 on orders which are less than R350.00. Any order that’s more than R350.00 (after promotional vouchers have been deducted) is delivered free of charge.
Delivery Time :
We offer a Monday to Friday (09h00 – 17h00), delivery service. We do not deliver on Good Friday, the 25th and 26th of December, the 1st of January or any public holiday in South Africa. There are no weekend deliveries. If you’re not available at the chosen delivery address to receive your order at the time of delivery, the courier will make a second attempt at another time. After that, our call centre will contact you to make other arrangements. Where delays and out of stock situations occur, every reasonable effort will be made to inform you if we believe there will be a substantial delay in your delivery.
Refund and Exchange Policy :
Refunds (to the purchaser’s Edcon account** credit card) or exchanges of items ordered online may be done at any of our Red Square or Edgars stores. View our store locator to find your nearest store. Items will be exchanged for a gift card, credited with the full purchase price of the items purchased in cases where the original card used for purchase cannot be produced at the time of refund.
We will refund or exchange cosmetics and fragrances purchased online, provided that :
1. there is valid proof of purchase, i.e. packing slip, invoice or gift receipt;
2. the ThankU card or credit card used to purchase online is presented at the store when you return the item** s
3. it is within 30 days of purchase;
4. it is in its original packaging or condition, i.e. :
** the security seal or shrink wrap is intact (if applicable)
** it is unopened and unused, and the price ticket is attached
5. In the interest of hygiene standards, cosmetic accessories and personal care products will not be refunded or exchanged.
6. If you are returning with a gift receipt, you will receive a gift card to the full value of the online purchase. There will be no refunds of any delivery fees incurred.
In addition to the rights set out in our return policy, if you qualify as a consumer in terms of the Electronic Communications and Transactions (ECT) Act you may enjoy certain cooling-off rights in terms of which you can cancel any transaction within 7 (SEVEN) days after the date of receipt of the goods or services, or within 7 (SEVEN) days after the date of conclusion of the agreement, without reason or penalty. This does not apply to certain goods or services. For example, any airtime purchased by you is not subject to the “cooling off” provisions of the ECT Act since the ECT Act specifies that the cooling off provisions do not apply to electronic communications where the goods are clearly personalised. If you have effected payment prior to exercising your right to return the products, Edcon will refund you the full purchase price thereof, less any direct costs incurred by Edcon in returning such goods.
Payment Options :
There are two payment options that Red Square online accepts at present :
1. Edcon cards ( Edgars and Jet) are accepted as a means of payment.
2.Credit or Cheque Cards All Visa, MasterCard, Diners Club and American Express cards (with an expiry date).
