Please note that, right now, in order to place an order on our site, you’ll need to have a South African ID number, and either an Edgars or Jet store card or a Visa or MasterCard with an expiry date.

What’s next? If you’re new to the CNA online store, follow these steps to place an order :
First, register as a shopper by clicking on the login/register button at the top of the home page. Follow the easy prompts and, when you’ve successfully registered, you’ll be sent a registration confirmation email. Make sure you click on the link in that email to confirm your email address. If you don’t, we won’t be able to confirm you as a customer, and that would be sad!

Now you’re ready to start shopping. Hooray! Browse through our range of products either by using the search box on the top-right hand side of the page or browse through the product listing. Once you’ve found the products you want to purchase, just click “Add to Cart” and, just like magic, you’ll see the product being added to your cart. (By the way, the cart is located on the top right hand side of the website.) If you click on the arrow on the left of the cart you’ll be able to view the products you just added. The good news is that you can take as much time as you need browsing and adding products to the cart – because our online store never closes! Once you have found all the products you want, click on the “Checkout” button visible on your cart.

Next, you’ll get to the ‘order summary page’ where you can review all the items you’ve placed in your cart. And, if you decide that you don’t want to buy a certain item, all you do is click on the round button with a red cross on it on the right, and Voila! The item will be removed. You can also amend the quantities of any item by clicking the +/- next to the quantity. This is the place where you can also save dosh – if you have a voucher code that’s valid for an online purchase, just enter the code in the voucher box and click on “Apply”.

Make sure that you’ve registered and logged in to carry on, because this is where we get all your delivery detail. At this stage, you need to enter the delivery and recipient details. The delivery address could be yours, or maybe you’re surprising someone with a gift – so you’ll enter their instead! You need to make sure that the address is accurate so that we can make sure we deliver your parcel to the correct location. On this page we’ll also give you the chance to sign up to receive notification of our specials via email or SMS. Yay! Don’t miss out on any of our great goodies!

Now it’s time to get your purse out, because the next page is where you enter your payment details. At the moment, we only accept Edgars and Jet store cards (or Thank U cards) or Visa and MasterCards. We don’t currently accept EFT (electronic funds transfer) as a method of payment, or Amex and Diners Club cards. Remember you can also get all the rewards you would get shopping in store, so if you’re paying with your credit card and would like to earn Thank U points, just enter your cash card or Thank U card number in the rewards section. Then, click on “Complete Purchase”, where you are automatically agreeing to our Terms and Conditions.

We’ll hold your hand all the way. If you’re paying with the card entered for the first time, you’ll be guided through a verification process where you must accurately answer five security questions before payment is processed. If this process does not succeed, please call our call centre and an agent will be able to assist you.

Once your payment has been processed, we’ll display your order number on the confirmation screen, plus you’ll also receive an order confirmation email with instructions on how to track your order through our courier partner. Delivery times will vary based on the item ordered and the delivery location. And that’s it! Your fabulous shopping will soon be arriving on your doorstep!

Delivery Charges :
How great is it when a package arrives at your front door- We charge a standard delivery fee of R55.00 on orders which are less than R350.00. An order that’s more than R350.00 (after promotional vouchers have been deducted) is delivered FREE (Yay!). We don’t charge delivery fees for eBook downloads.

Delivery Areas :
CNA.co.za delivers to physical addresses within the borders of South Africa. There is no post office delivery service.

Delivery Times :
CNA.co.za offers a Monday to Friday (07h30 – 17h00), delivery service. We do not deliver on Good Friday, the 25th and 26th of December, the 1st of January or any public holiday in South Africa. There are no weekend deliveries. If you’re not available at the chosen delivery address to receive your order at the time of delivery, the driver will make a second attempt at another time. After that, our call centre will contact you to make other arrangements.

Where delays and out of stock situations occur, every reasonable effort will be made to inform you if we believe there will be a substantial delay in your delivery.

Payment Options :

There are two payment options that CNA accepts at present :
Edcon or Thank U Accounts :
Any of the following accounts are accepted as a payment method : Edgars Card, Jet Card, Prato Card, Temptations Card, Boardman’s Card, Blacksnow Card, Legit Card, Edcon Shopping Card, Sales House Card and any Thank U account card.

Credit Cards :
All Visa and MasterCard cards (with an expiry date). We do not currently accept Diners or American Express cards.

Refunds and Exchanges :
We will exchange or refund products provided that : there is valid proof of purchase, i.e. till slip, gift receipt, order confirmation email or invoice; it is within 30 days of purchase; it is in its original packaging or condition, i.e.; the security seal or shrink wrap is intact (if applicable); it is unworn and unused and the price ticket is attached Part works may be exchanged or refunded if the current partwork is still on sale in the store and it is in its original condition and packaging, and valid proof of purchase is presented.

The following additional terms and conditions may apply :
Appliances, Electrical, Electronic, Digital Products :
Faulty appliances, electrical, electronic and digital products (including gaming consoles and accessories) will be repaired, replaced or refunded subject to supplier warranties and terms and conditions provided that :
** you have used the product in accordance with the manufacturer’s terms of use and there is no evidence of structural damage or abuse
** the original components and accessories are also returned
** the original plug has not been tampered with
** the product was used for domestic purposes only

Faulty digital products (including gaming consoles and accessories) will be exchanged if returned within 7 days of purchase, subject to supplier warranties and terms and conditions.

CD’s, DVD’s, PC and Gaming Software :
Faulty CD’s, DVD’s, PC and Gaming Software will be exchanged for the same item.

Cell Phones and Airtime :
** Cell phones may not be refunded
** Faulty cell phones will be exchanged or repaired subject to the relevant network provider’s terms and conditions (Please read the Customer Pick-up Document for the terms and conditions that apply to cell phones)
** Airtime will not be refunded or exchanged

Jewellery and Watches :
Faulty jewellery and watches will be exchanged or repaired subject to supplier warranties and terms and conditions

Gift Cards :
** Gift Cards will not be exchanged for cash and no change will be given. However, the balance will remain on the gift card
** Lost Gift Cards will only be replaced on presentation of proof of purchase

Items which cannot be Refunded or Exchanged :
In the interest of hygiene standards the following products will not be refunded or exchanged :
** Swimwear, underwear bottoms, eveningwear, hosiery, hair extensions & accessories, cosmetic accessories, earrings, body piercing products, infants bottles, feeders, breast pumps, dummies, baby consumables, personal care products and all medicines
** Magazines may not be refunded or exchanged.
