You can pay your vehicle licence fees online by doing an electronic funds transfer (EFT) from your banking website.
Related : Western Cape Government Vehicle Licences South Africa : www.statusin.org/4992.html
Follow these three easy steps to do so :
Complete one of our business or individual online forms, and click on “Submit”. You will immediately receive a unique number (which is issued for our records), followed by an e-mail with the amount due, a reference number and our banking details. This should be sent to you within two working days. Once you have this, you can pay your licence fees by transferring the funds electronically from your banking website.
Note : Use the reference number listed on the e-mail on your banking site (not the unique number).
Payment of licences : individuals
Before you pay your vehicle licence online, please use our map to check whether you reside within the City’s boundaries. If not, you will need to pay your vehicle licence at the registering authority under which you fall.
To pay online, complete and submit the form below. All fields marked with asterisks on the form are mandatory. Please retype the randomly generated security code located in the image box at the bottom of this page without any spaces between the letters and/or numbers. This code has been designed to prevent system generated attacks and abuse. You will then be sent a confirmation e-mail followed by an electronic renewal advice within two working days. The renewal advice will list the amount that is due, a reference number and our banking details. Once you have this information (which can also be obtained from the Call Centre on 086 010 3089), you can then make an electronic payment via your bank’s website. We will process and post your licence within five working days.
Please note that the form below is intended for vehicle licence renewals only, and cannot be used for any other purpose (such as notifying us that you have changed your details).
Please allow the server a minute or two to process the form after you have submitted it, taking care not to click the submit button more than once. If you encounter an error message after submitting the form, please attend to the error and resubmit.
