The GRA Portal permits registered Portal users to submit Tax Refund Requests online. Detailed information on online Tax Refund Requests is available in the User Guides below. Alternatively you can view the processes on our Demonstration Videos.

1. Introduction :
To file a Tax Refund Application online you must already have registered for a:
** Tax Identification Number (TIN)
** Portal User Account
** Tax Type
If you do not yet posses these please see the following documents for further information :

** GRA Portal User Guide – Online Tax Type Registration
Additionally your Taxpayer Account with the GRA must be in credit
2. Login :
Login to GRA Portal :
** Enter your TIN
** Enter your password
** Click Login
3. Verify Status of the Taxpayer Account
3.1 Select the “Profile” and “Taxpayer Account Enquiry” and “Summary”
Check that :
** Your Taxpayer Account is in Credit overall (a CR suffix denotes a Credit)
** Which Tax Type is in Credit (a negative value denotes a Credit)
4. Submit a Refund Application :
4.1 Select the “Submission” tab and select “Refund”
4.2 Fill out Refund Form :
Fill Out Refund Form
** Select Tax Type
** Select Return Type
** Select Document Type
** Enter Amount Claimed
** Select the Period
** Add any relevant Claim Notes
4.3 Success Message :
The success message is displayed ” Your request has been received successfully and sent for processing. Thank You”
5. Access a Copy of Your Submitted Application
5.1 Select the “Submission” tab and “Submission History” option
5.2 Select the “View/Print” to access Application
