Home Care Services For Older Persons :
This service is intended to assist senior citizens who are 60 years or older and are unable to maintain good housekeeping standards.

Eligibility :
** Must be a Bahamian Citizen or permanent resident that is 60 years or older.
** Unable to maintain good housekeeping standards.
Process :
** The applicant visits the Senior Citizens Division requesting intervention from the Social Services Representative (SSR).
** The intake process and form are then completed by SSR.
** A needs assessment and home investigation are then completed.
** The SSR then makes a recommendation based on the findings.
** The applicant is informed of the recommendation made about whether or not they qualify for the service.
