Children’s Nursery License For Individuals :
Individuals interested in opening a new children’s nursery must obtain a license from the family development department at the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs.

Application Process:
Follow these steps to apply for children’s nursery license (for individuals):
** Download application form
** Fill out the application form entering all required information includes information about the proposed nursery, and safety issues related to the building, location, capacity, and proposed activities of the nursery.
** Submit the form along with the required supporting documents to The family development department at the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs.
Required Documents:
Please submit the following documents along with the application:
** Copy of ID card for the applicant
** A good conduct certificate for the applicant issued by the evidence and information department at the Ministry of Interior.
** Copy of ownership deed or lease contract for the premises allocated to use as a nursery notarized by the ministry of justice.
** Copy of commercial registration and permits issued by the Ministry of Business and Trade.
** Approval letter to post a billboard on the nursery issued by the registration and commercial licensing and permits department at the Ministry of Business and Trade.
** Copy of the establishment ID (sponsorship number) for a nursery issued by the Ministry of Interior.
** Certificate of validity for the premises to be used as a nursery issued by the traffic department at the Ministry of Interior.
** Certificate of compliance with the safety and security by the nursery issued by the civil defence department at the ministry of interior.
** Written undertaking by the owner of the license to deposit a bank guarantee of thirty thousand riyals at one of the local banks in Qatar.
** Undertaking by the owner or his deputy to adhere by the instructions issued by the family development department at the Ministry of Social Affairs.
** Print out the ministerial resolution no (6) for 2005 on work organization on the official nursery letterhead.
** Print out the ministerial resolution no (7) for 2005 on penalties on the official nursery letterhead.
