Steps to follow to request the service:
A- Process steps:
Current employer must complete and submit Employee End of Services Form enclosed with:
Resignation letter or termination letter.
Two copies of the processed form will be given to the authorized representative, one kept with employer; second one will be given to employee.

Self Service System :
Definition of the Scheme?
It is a social insurance scheme issued by the Royal Decree No. 44/2013 and it applies to self-employed Omani nationals and the like.
What are the categories covered by this Scheme?
This scheme covers the following categories :
1) Employers .
2) Lawyers, doctors , engineers, accountants, auditors and other self-employed persons.
3) Anyone required by the Commercial Register Law to be enrolled as working on the fields of trade, industry or commerce, finance and others who work on their own account.
4) Joint partners in all commercial companies except joint stock companies.
5) Anyone who works on his own account such as fishing, agriculture and driving public transport vehicles
6) Those who are engaged in activities the practice of which requires obtaining a permission or license from the competent authorities (taxi owners, driving instructors and tour guides)
Is it mandatory to register in this Scheme?
The registration in the scheme is optional and the payment of contribution shall be in accordance with the choice of the insured employee for income brackets stipulated by the Royal Decree in line with the nature of the registered occupation and the income earned by the insured from practicing such occupation.
PASI has the right to reject the contribution if it is not appropriate with the nature of the occupation or the financial capacity of the insured.
Is it permissible to register retroactively?
Registration may not be retroactive and it shall be carried out as of the date set by the insured on the form prepared for this purpose to commence his/her contribution in this Scheme .
This means that the commencement of the contribution in the Scheme may not be determined on any date falls before the date of submission of the registration application.
