How To Book Inorganic Collection In Auckland Council?
If you have inorganic items you would like us to remove, you need to let us know by booking a collection. You live in an apartment, townhouse, gated community or retirement village with 10 or more occupancy on one site, your body corporate or property manager needs to make a bulk booking through our collections team. Your body corporate or property manager should also tell you where you can place your items for collection.

The inorganic collection week dates will display only if bookings are still open for your area. If you have missed the set collection day for your area, you will have to find alternative ways of disposing of your items.
Household on-property inorganic collections are running. Collections that were postponed due to COVID-19 are being completed in May 2022. If your booked collection was postponed, our contractor will email you one week before your new collection week to confirm the collection date. Check your spam folder if you haven’t received this.
If you see dumped rubbish, please report it by calling 0800 NO DUMP (0800 663 867). Every area of Auckland is allocated a set week each year for an inorganic collection. Bookings are open until eight days before your area’s scheduled collection week.

How Inorganic Collections Work?
** Every property in Auckland is entitled to one inorganic collection per year. There is no charge, as the collection is paid for in your property rates.
** Collections are scheduled for certain areas at different times of the year. Once the schedule is released, you can find the collection period for your area by looking up your property in the online booking tool.
** After you’ve found the collection dates, you can make a booking any time up to eight days before the start of the collection period.
Inorganic Collection Terms & Conditions
** All items have to be ready for collection from within your property boundary (where possible) on your allocated collection day by 7am.
** Items are only to come from the rateable property where the collection will occur.
** Only up to 1 cubic metre of acceptable items will be collected and individual items must not be heavier than 55kg.
** Any non-complying, prohibited and dangerous items will not be collected.

** Collection/non-collection of inorganic material is at the sole discretion of the collectors.
** Please ensure that all details provided are correct as otherwise we might not be able to collect your inorganic items.
