GIS Project Management Assistance :
The Bahamas National Geographic Information Systems (BNGIS) Centre has the required Project Management skills to provide assistance to agencies specifically in the management of Projects with a GIS Component.

This assistance is designed to minimise if not eliminate duplication of effort and unnecessary expenditure of government funds.
Eligibility :
Government agencies who are considering planning and implementing projects that may have a GIS Component.
Process :
** Requesting agency submits a request expressing interest in project management assistance.
** The BNGIS Centre responds by providing a GIS Project Profile Form to the requesting agency.
** Requesting Agency completes and returns form addressed to the Director, BNGIS centre.
** BNGIS Centre processes request for assistance based on project profile.
** BNGIS provides response to requesting agency.
** Meetings to discuss needs are arranged as required to determine next steps based on agency needs as well as BNGIS Centre requirements.
** The BNGIS Centre & requesting agency make necessary arrangements for BNGIS Centre’s intervention.
