Most awards for undergraduates are made only during the fall session. Undergraduate scholarship beneficiaries are eligible for Al Akhawayn scholarships for a maximum of nine enrolling semesters (or eight semesters plus two summer sessions) including one semester at the Language Center.

Scholarship Types Offered:
** 100 percent of tuition, fees, and books (almost 36,600 MAD per semester)

Scholarship Conditions:

AUI scholarships are predicated on the following conditions:
** Scholarships are granted for specific programs and are not transferable to other programs outside the school to which the scholarship recipient was initially accepted. However, new admitted candidates enrolled with a scholarship in their first semester at AUI are allowed to change their chosen program before the first day of classes. Otherwise, they lose their scholarship.
** As part of their scholarship package, full scholarship holders are required to perform unpaid part-time jobs (five hours per week for 80 hours per semester) on the Al Akhawayn campus.
** Scholarship holders can apply for the Exchange Program for one semester only (or for one year when required by the school program), taking a minimum of 15 transferable credits. However, if the student takes fewer than the recommended full-time load, they should be aware of the risk of needing more than nine semesters, in which case they will have to pay for additional courses beyond the ninth semester.
** Students are allowed to use their scholarships during summer sessions as long as they are in good academic standing and do not exceed the total budget committed for the scholarship period.

Applying for Scholarships:
** Undergraduate scholarships are offered to Moroccan students only.
** Students can apply for a scholarship by completing the scholarship section stated in the Online Application for Admission. Highly qualified applicants, admitted in the General Admission Test (GAT) and meeting the scholarship selection criteria stated below, are invited for a scholarship interview prior to a final decision. After a rigorous selection by the Al Akhawayn scholarship committee, successful candidates are offered merit-based scholarships.
** The committee’s scholarship decision is communicated via a candidate’s personal accounts and/or e-mail.
** Scholarship Eligibility Criteria for Undergraduates (Bachelor’s Candidates)

Note:
** A Moroccan baccalaureate or equivalent with a minimum “mention Bien” (14/20) or a grade of 13/20 or above for a French baccalaureate or an American baccalaureate with a SGPA of at least 3.00/4.00 or a Middle Eastern Baccalaureate with 90% or better or a Spanish Baccalaureate of 8/10 or better.
** A superior achievement in the General Admission Test (GAT) or an SAT score of 1700 or better with 500 points in mathematics
** A superior rating at the scholarship Interview.
** A combination of these elements is used to rank undergraduate scholarship applicants and determine the type of scholarship they will be awarded. Students offered a scholarship should confirm their acceptance of the award and of its renewal policy by paying a non-refundable advance of 10,000 MAD within the set deadline.

N.B:

** Undergraduate scholarship beneficiaries are eligible for Al Akhawayn scholarships for a maximum of nine enrolling semesters (or eight semesters plus two summer sessions), including one semester at the Language Center. The continuation of the scholarship depends on the student demonstrating excellence and successful progress toward the student’s studies, as evidenced by maintaining a Semester Grade Point Average (SGPA) of at least 3.00. If the SGPA falls between 2.50 and 2.99, the student will be placed on scholarship probation. If the student fails to return to the required standing, reduction or suspension of the scholarship will apply.
