How can I create an account? :
Civil servants must tick that they are a civil servant when creating an account. If you do not have an official civil service email address or are unable to access your work email account, leave the Work Email field blank and the activation email will be sent to your Line Manager.
How Can I Track My Application?:
Once you have submitted your application form, when you log back into the application centre you will be able to view the following information:
The status of your application, correspondence that has been sent to you, contact details, and you will also be able to edit your personal details.
Please consult your application centre and check your emails to make sure you are always aware of the application status.
Not Receiving Job Alerts :
If you have stopped receving job alert emails it is likely that you have not yet registered with CS Jobs. You will need to create a new account with CS Jobs following which you will gain access to set up your alerts.
Please note that job alerts are sent daily, provided there is a match with the criteria you specified during set up.
Confirmation Required / Confirmation Not Received:
If you have not already received an email confirmation, please attempt to log in to your application form.
If you are greeted with a message informing you that your application has already been submitted, then your application has already been received.
You do not need to reconfirm your application – unless you have previously been asked to do so.
Please note: If you are using a free web-based email service such as Hotmail, Yahoo, BigFoot, Gmail etc, any emails sent automatically through the WebSAF application system may arrive in your ‘junk’ folder, based on how you have configured your service.
Please check your junk folder regularly for any correspondence that might be sent.
If you want to check on the status of your application please visit your Application Centre regularly.
CV not uploading :
Once you have uploaded your CV a green tick beside the section link on the navigation menu will indicate that it has been uploaded successfully.
Please note: Although you will not be able to view your uploaded CV, should you wish to replace it, simply re-upload your amended CV. This will then replace the previously uploaded document.
Unble to upload CV:
If you are still unable to upload your CV, please try the following steps:
** check to ensure that it is not password protected (if in pdf format)
** try to upload it by logging into your application in a different browser
