MyAccount Online :

We are the only trade union and association in Fiji to offer our members the value adding services of accessing their accounts online.

Getting Started:
Getting started with CFS Online is easy. Follow the steps below to register and start using CFS Online.

Step 1:
In order to use CFS Online, you need to be a member of the Fijian Teachers Association. If you are already a member of Fijian Teachers Association, please go to step 2. To get information on how to join the Fijian Teachers Association, please call Enquiries on (679) 3314609.

Step 2:
If you are a member of the Fijian Teachers Association, you are already registered for CFS Online. To activate your CFS Online, please call Customer Care on (679) 3303661 between 8.30 am to 4.30 pm on business days. You will be given your user id and a temporary password.

Step 3:
Please log on to CFS Online using the user id and the temporary, and change the password at first logon.

How To Protect Your Online Banking Transactions:

Logging on to CFS Online :
** Always access the CFS Online site by entering the Fijian Teachers Association website address (http://www.fta.org.fj) directly into the address bar, and then click on the “CFS Online”.
** Do not, under any circumstance follow any link from any other website, or any email. Make sure that you are in the right website when you conduct your online banking transactions.
** Before logging on to CFS Online, check that the website address (URL) begins with “https”. You also need to check if it includes a closed padlock icon on the status bar as displayed in the browser. If you want to confirm the authenticity of your financial site, you may double-click on the lock icon to see their security certificate information.

Password Protection:
** Safeguard your online account password and user ID. Never disclose these important data to anyone at any time for any reason.
** Make sure that your account password is really difficult for hackers to guess. Combine alphabets, numbers and symbols then use upper and lower case characters together with numbers and symbols.
** Do not save your password on your computer or write it down, even if disguised
** Do not create easy-to-guess passwords such as birthday, places and names
** Do not use the “save and remember the password” feature offered by browsers.
** Don’t type your password while somebody is watching
** Change your password if you think it has been placed in jeopardy
** Change your password from time to time.

Internet Security:
** Avoid opening any email from unknown sources or if it appears suspicious in any way. There are people who send emails that use names or logos from trusted financial sites and ask for your sensitive information. Take note that reliable financial institutions do not conduct business this way so delete e-mails immediately from unknown senders without opening them.
** Avoid opening attachments from unknown sources because it might carry a virus and get into your computer in order to track your personal information
** Use a firewall on your computer to protect your computer from intrusion by offensive websites, spam and unauthenticated logins from potential hackers.
** Ensure that antivirus software is installed on your computer, and download the updates for antivirus software regularly. Up to date antivirus software protects your computer from known computer viruses.
** Update your trusted browser and operating system by downloading the latest security updates from the vendor, Update software helps protect your computer from intrusion by offensive websites, spam and unauthenticated logins from potential hackers

Staying safe when using CFS Online in public places:
** Be wary of your surroundings and ensure no one is observing you when entering your User ID or password.
** Never click on links embedded within emails; always enter the web address directly into the location/address bar.
** Ensure that there is a padlock symbol in the bottom right corner of your browser.
** Never click the ‘save my password/details’ option sometimes offered.
** Never change security details such as your password in a public place (e.g. libraries, Internet cafes).
** Do not leave your computer unattended or idle for long periods of time.
** Make it a habit to clear your computer’s cache by deleting the history of the web sites that you have visited so that you could also delete your transaction history inside the computer’s memory. This is another way of preventing hackers from accessing your personal account information
** Always log out from CFS Online when you have finished and close the browser.
** Only log on to CFS Online from computers that have anti-virus software installed.

Keep track of your Transactions :
** Keep track of your CFS Online transactions by reviewing all of your account statements and verifying regularly the charges to check for any suspicious activity.
** You should immediately notify Fijian Teachers Association for any unauthorized transactions or errors in your account through their customer service.
** Make sure to log-off when leaving your computer unattended or if you’re finished with your online transactions.
