How To Apply For Domestic Helpers License in Brunei?

For citizen of Brunei Darussalam or Permanent Residents Application:
** Completed form. (BUR 301)
** Valid copies of the applicant’s and his/her spouse’s identity cards.
** Completed financial details form. (BUR300)
** Copies of the applicant’s latest salary slips.
** A copy of birth certificate and/or identity card for children or other family members living in the same household.
** Authorization letter from the Government of His Majesty the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan or Brunei Darussalam for Government Housing or Tenancy Agreement (if applicable).
** Copy of Registration of Companies or Form X of the Applicant and/or his/her spouse (whom holds ownership of the business).
** Copy of authorization letter for pensioners.
** Other income details (if any) such as Tenancy Agreement for businesses/ residence.
** Copies of spouse’s latest salary slips (if needed to support applicant).
** Copy of Doctor’s verification letter for the Application for sick or other special needs family members (if applicable)
** A copy of mother/father/mother-in-law/father-in-law identity card if the application of this licence is intended for the case of the mentioned (Kebenaran Khas).
** For the position of driver, please include a copy of the vehicle Bluecard and children’s daily school routine schedule/timetable and/or other activities.

Additional Documents needed in relation to Deposit for Domestic Helper License:
2 copies of Borang Pengecualian (if applicable).

Additional Documents For Foreign Citizen Application:
** A copy of the contract of service or offer letter from the Government of His Majesty the Sultan and Yang DI-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam.
** A copy of the contract of service between the applicant and the employer endorsed by the Commissioner or Labour.
** Approved Work Pass Recommendation (BUR500/555) by the Department of Labour.

For citizen of Brunei Darussalam or Permanent Residents Application:
** Completed form. (BUR 302)
** Original Domestic Helper License.
** Valid copies of the applicant’s and his/her spouse’s identity cards.
** Copies of the applicant’s latest salary slips.
** Copy of authorization letter for pensioners.
** A copy of identity card for family members where applicable (Kebenaran Khas)
** Copies of spouse’s latest salary slips.
** A copy of birth certificate and/or identity card for children or other family members living in the same household.

Additional Documents needed in relation to Deposit for Domestic Helper License:
** 2 copies of Borang Pengecualian (if applicable).
** Copy of Security Deposit Receipt (if applicable).

Additional Documents For Foreign Citizen Application:
** A Copy of the contract of service or offer letter from the Government of His Majesty the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam

** Copies of the applicant’s latest salary slips.
** Completed financial details form. (BUR300)
** Letter explaining reason’s for additional.
** Copy of authorization letter for pensioners.
** A copy of identity card for family members where applicable (Kebenaran Khas).
** Copies of spouse’s latest salary slips.
** A copy of birth certificate and/or identity card for children or other family members living in the same household.
** 2 copies of Borang Pengecualian (if applicable).

Additional Documents needed in relation to Deposit for Domestic Helper License:
** 2 copies of Borang Pengecualian (if applicable).
** Copy of Security Deposit Receipt (if applicable).
