RGD Life Event Searching & Certificate Ordering System
The Online Life Event Searching application provides an online service for searching and ordering contemporary life event records held by the Registry. Currently Birth, Death, and Marriage records may be searched for and ordered.

If more than one record matches your search, you will be prompted to refine your search.
How To Access ?
Select the “Online Life Event Searching” button at the top of the page. From here you can select to search for either a Birth record, a Death record, or a Marriage record, by selecting the respective sub-menu button. You can view the contents of your Shopping Cart at any time by selecting the “Shopping Cart” button.
Search Birth Records
Step 1 : Go to the Link https://agla.gov.tt/
Step 2 : Enter your Name, Mother’s Name, Father’s Name and Date of birth to search your birth records.
How To Search?
Enter as many search terms as you know, and then select “Submit Search” at the bottom of the search form. You can clear the search form by selecting “Clear Search” at the bottom of the search form.
Mandatory fields are shaded, however at a minimum you must enter the date of event and one name term. When you select “Submit Search” your search terms will first be validated and you will be prompted to correct any errors before a search will proceed.
When searching, you must provide sufficient data in the search fields for a single unique match to your life event record held by the Registry. If more than one record held by the Registry is matched by your search, you will be prompted to refine your search.
When a unique match is found a limited amount of information from the record will be displayed in a table below the search form.
How to Order a Product :
Once you have found the record you are looking for, check the details of the record that are provided to ensure it is in fact the record you want to order. Select the “Add to Shopping Cart” button to add this record to your Shopping Cart.
At this stage you can continue to search for other life event records, or you can view your Shopping Cart and select products for the records that are in your Shopping Cart. To view your Shopping Cart select the “Shopping Cart” button at the top of the page.
Manual Registry Search
When you cannot locate a life event record using the Online Life Event Searching website, you can opt to have the Registry perform a manual search to locate your record. Select “Manual Registry Search” on the search page.
Your Shopping Cart :
Please check that the items listed are correct before proceeding to the checkout. Records for which you have not selected a product for are shown with an item quantity of zero.
To remove an item select the “-” button to the right of the item. To purchase a different product for a record already in your cart, select the “+” button to the right of the item in your cart and a new item will appear in your cart. Select the product type and quantity for the new item.
You can save the contents of your cart and retrieve it at a future date by selecting “Save Cart” and entering your email address. To load a previously saved cart select “Load Cart” and enter your email address.
Once you are satisfied with the items in your cart proceed to checkout by selecting “Checkout”, or continue searching by selecting the “Births”, “Deaths”, or “Marriages” sub-menu buttons at the top of the page.
Checkout Your Shopping Cart :
To lodge your order, select the “Checkout” button at the bottom of the Shopping Cart page. You are required to enter your contact details before reviewing a summary of your order. If you are satisfied the order is correct, select the “Process Order” button at the bottom of the page.

Where do I go to do a marriage certificate search?
I think this is a very convenient and useful way of ordering a certificate. Thanks.
Is it possible for me to have my name included (on line) on the new document as my old certificate was supported by an Affidavit attesting to my name?
