General Regulations:
** All documents issued from Pakistan should be attested by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Islamabad or its Camp Offices.

** Documents issued from China should be attested from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of China.
Unmarried Certificate:
** Unmarried Certificate issued by Union Council/Municipal Ward from where the applicant hails in Pakistan or Affidavit from the parents/family of the applicant stating his/her marital status should be attested from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Islamabad.
** The Embassy does not issue any such certificates on its own and only counter-attests certificates/Affidavits already attested by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Pakistan.
Attestation of Educational Degree(s)/ Certificate(s) Awarded by Chinese Educational Institutions
The Degree should be attested by an authorized Notary and by Chinese Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

Attestation of Power of Attorneys :
** Pakistani Nationals desirous of getting their powers of Attorneys attested from the Embassy of Pakistan/Consulates should proceed as under:-
** Type the contents of Power of Attorneys.
** Manage two Pakistani Nationals and type their names and CNIC on the Power of Attorney as a witness (all three should have original CNIC, passports and two photographs each).
** All three to come of Consular Department of Embassy/ Consulates General and sign/ make thumb impressions on the Power of Attorney in front of the Consular Officer.
** The Consular Officer attests the Power of Attorney and will hand over the original document to the applicant.
** Attestation Fee RMB 75 per signature (Normal).

Birth Registration:
For birth registration of Pakistani children born in China the following documents are required:
** Completely filled in birth registration form (can be downloaded from this site).
** Original and copy of Birth Certificate from relevant Chinese authorities.
** Two photographs (passport size)
** Photocopy of mother’s and father’s passports and National Identity Cards.
