Organizers of voter registration drives have five calendar days to turn in completed forms to a county elections office, and cannot coerce people to register with a particular political party.

Voter registration forms can be obtained from county elections offices. To obtain 500 or more applications, please fill out this form (PDF), and return it to the Oregon Elections Division.??????????

Age and Citizenship Concerns:
** If you are 17 years old, you will not receive a ballot until an election occurs on or after your 18th birthday.
** If you are going to receive your citizenship on or before an election, you must submit a voter registration card before the 21-day voter registration deadline.
** After you take your oath, you must appear and provide evidence of citizenship to the elections office in the county where you live, on or before Election Day.

Update Voter Registration Information:
Keeping Your Voter Registration Current is Easy:
If you have an Oregon driver’s license or state ID card, you can use My Vote to update your voter registration information, including address or political party affiliation. A name change needs to be updated by completing a new paper registration form.

All voters can complete a new paper voter registration form?? (PDF), and submit it to any county elections office? to update their information.

You can update your voter registration information, except to change your party for the Primary Election, until 8 p.m. on Election Day and still be able to cast a ballot. However, if your registration is updated close to an election, your ballot might have to be issued at the county elections office.
