There are a number of ways you can pay your SA Water account and we have listed these below.

Telephone and Internet Banking – BPAY:
If you have registered with your financial institution, you can also pay your account using their BPAY facility either over the telephone or their website.

SA Water’s biller code is 8888.

Your reference number for BPAY is next to the BPAY logo on the front of your SA Water account.

If you are not already registered for this service, contact your financial institution for details or visit the BPAY website.

Paying Online:
You can pay your account any time of the day, any day of the week thanks to our secure online service. Just have your credit card handy (MasterCard or Visa). Maximum online credit card payment is $100,000. Should your account number contain an asterisk (*), please include it in the ‘Account Number’ field.

Pay by Phone:
Paying by Phone – 1300 650 870

Call us to make a payment using Visa or MasterCard – 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

Paying by Direct Debit:
Call us on 1300 650 950 and we will send you an application form or download an application form to arrange payment from your cheque or savings account (no credit cards).

Paying in Person:
Present your account and payment to a Commonwealth Bank branch or Australia Post. No credit card payment accepted.

You can also pay in person at SA Water House, 250 Victoria Square / Tarntanyangga, Adelaide.

Paying by Mail:
Detach the payment slip from your account and post it with your cheque or money order to:

Paying by Centrepay:
Centrepay is a free direct bill-paying service offered to customers receiving payments from Centrelink. To register or for further information please call 1300 650 950.

Payment Terms and Conditions:
If you wish to use SA Water’s telephone and internet payment services please note the following important information:
Payment can be made by Visa or MasterCard credit/debit card only. We do not accept payment by American Express or Diners card.

The maximum amount payable at any one time is $100,000.

All payments made before 5.00pm will be credited to your account within 24 hours. Payments made after 5.00pm will be credited to your account within 48 hours.

Please be aware that you are responsible for correctly entering all bill and payment method information requested when paying your bill. If the information is incorrect it may result in your bill remaining unpaid.

While both payment services provide a payment reference number acknowledging your payment, your financial institution may subsequently decline the transaction. Therefore the issue of a payment reference number does not deem payment of the bill to have been finalised.

Should payment be declined then you will need to contact your financial institution. SA Water will not be aware that the transaction has been declined and is therefore unable to inform you directly.
