Apply For Senior Pass Online :

Metro Senior Pass is available to all those of pensionable age in West Yorkshire. It can be used within the county and across the UK. You can apply online or in a Bus Station Travel Centre.

Benefits – what do I get?:
Free, off-peak bus travel throughout England.
Half-fare, off-peak train travel throughout West Yorkshire, for West Yorkshire residents.

Off-peak times:
Off-peak is after 9.30am Monday to Friday, and all day at weekends and Bank Holidays.

The English National Concessionary Scheme hours for free bus travel nationally are 9.30am to 11pm, however the West Yorkshire scheme allows for concessionary travel from 11pm until the end of service.

Senior Pass exclusions:
You cannot use your Senior Pass on certain special bus services, excursions, tours, private hire vehicles, school and works contract services, football specials and certain express bus services.

Replacing lost, stolen or damaged Senior Passes:
Lost passes:
There is a £5 fee to issue replacements for lost Senior Passes. This charge applies to Metro-issued English National Concessionary Scheme (ENCS) passes.

A Bus Station Travel Centre (Travel Centre locations)

Travel Centre staff will confirm if you are on the ENCS database before ordering your replacement Senior Pass. If you are not on the ENCS database, you will have to re-apply for your Senior Pass.

If you can’t get to a Travel Centre, please write to Metro with:
Your full name and address
Telephone number
Cheque or postal order for £5, made payable to ‘WYCA’.

This service is available 7am to 8pm, seven days a week.

Damaged passes:
If your pass has been damaged through natural wear and tear, you can order a replacement free of charge. If you order online, there is a £5 replacement fee:

A Bus Station Travel Centre:
If your pass has been defaced you will have to pay a £5 replacement fee.

Alternatively, post the damaged Senior Pass to us, including your name, full address and telephone number, to:

Stolen passes:
If your Metro-issued ENCS Senior Pass has been stolen, report it to the police. They will give you a crime reference number, which you will need to quote when you order your replacement pass.

Online – see buttons to the right of this page. There is a £5 replacement fee if you do this online.
At a Travel Centre – there is no charge for this.
By phoning MetroLine on 0113 245 7676 to order a replacement. There is no charge for this.
