District Courts of Papua New Guinea:
The National Judicial System of Papua New Guinea comprises of two layers of court. The Higher Courts are The National and The Supreme Court and the other layer of courts is the Inferior Courts known as the District Courts.
Both The National and The Supreme Courts are created by the Constitution of the Independant State of Papua New Guinea while the District Courts are creatures of Parliamentary Legislations.
