Service Location :

Requisite Documents :
I. For Individual Exporters (Sole Proprietors):
1. A certified copy of the entry record in the current Commercial Register specifying the company’s type of business and its date of registration. It must also show that the company’s capital equals or exceeds L.E.10, 000 for production projects or L.E.25,000 for other enterprises and that exportation, trading or production is listed among the company’s activities.

2. A declaration by the person concerned to indicate the criminal status record and that he is not a government civil servant or a public sector employee and that he is neither declared legally bankrupt nor previously entered in the Exporters’ Register. The declaration as well must indicate that the person concerned has undertaken to serve notice to GOEIC regarding any amendment during 60 days from the date of its occurrence.

3. A copy of a personal or family identity card or passport. The original must be presented at the time of application.
4. If the Commercial Register certified copy was to involve an authorized agent, the related documents to be provided by him shall be the same as those required to be completed by the person concerned.

5. A certificate indicating registration of trademarks, if any.
6. Export-practicing certificate
7. An application for entry in the Exporters Register shall be copied and made available in GOEIC’s main and field offices.

II. For Joint Liability Companies and Partnerships:
1-A certified copy of the entry record in the current commercial register. The entry must show that the company’s capital equals or exceeds L.E. 20,000 for production projects and L.E. 50,000 for other enterprises and that exportation, trading or production is listed among the company’s activities.

2- A declaration by the person concerned to indicate the criminal status record and that he is not a government civil servant or a public sector employee and that he is neither declared legally bankruptto all acting parteners or managers . The declaration as well must indicate that the person concerned has undertaken to serve GOEIC notice regarding any amendment or change during 60 days from the date of its occurrence.

3-A copy of personal or family identity card or passport of all acting partners or managers. The originals must be presented at the time of application.
4-A certificate indicating registration of trademarks, if any.
5- An export-practicing certificate.
6- An application for entry in the Exporters Register (copied and made available in GOEIC and its field offices.
7- A statement specifying the official responsible for exportation.

III. For Joint Stock and Limited Liability Companies established in accordance with Law No. 159/ 1981:
1. Renewed and valid certified copy of the entry record in the Commercial Register specifying the company’s type of activity, amount of capital and managerial functions (for limited liability companies), as well as its board members and executives authorized to manage and sign on behalf of the company. Also, the entry must show that exportation is listed as one of the company’s activities and that the capital equals or exceeds L.E. 20,000 for production projects and L.E.50, 000 for other enterprises.

2. A statement specifying the official responsible for exportation.
3. An export-practicing certificate to be presented by the party assigned for exportation
4. A certificate indicating registration of trademarks, if any.

5. A declaration indicating that the person concerned was neither legally declared a bankrupt, nor previously registered. A criminal status record must be shown as well to the chairman of board and the executives authorized to manage and sign on behalf of the company For Joint Stock and authorized managers of the Limited Liability Companies.

A declaration certifying that GOEIC was served notice on any amendment or change in the data recorded in the Exporters’ Register within 60 days from its date of occurrence. The declarations shall be signed by the Board Chairman or a delegated board member in joint stock companies or by who has the authority to sign on behalf of limited liability companies.

6- An application for entry in the Exporters Register (copied and made available in GOEIC and its field offices).

IV. For Cooperative Societies and their Unions:
1. A free-of-charge entry application form in the exporters register in GOEIC or any of its field offices that is duly signed by the competent official in the society or the union. The form shall include all related data concerning the given society or union, its type of activity, type of trading and trademarks if any, as well as its commercial logo, main and field office addresses.

2. The Egyptian Official Gazette (El Wakaea El Massreya) issue containing the notice of incorporation of the society and any related amendments.

3. True copy of incorporation deed or rules of procedure of the society or union concerned naming executives authorized to manage and sign on behalf of the society and indicating their Egyptian nationality. It should also specify that exportation, trading or production is among the activities of the given society or union.

4. The criminal status record of those authorized to manage and sign on behalf of the society. A declaration indicating that the person concerned was neither legally declared a bankrupt, nor previously registered. A declaration certifying that GOEIC was served notice on any amendment or change during 60 days from the date of its occurrence.

5. Copy of the approved decree appointing members of the board of directors.
6. A statement naming the executive responsible for exportation.
7. An export-practicing certificate to be presented by the party assigned for exportation.

V. For General Associations and Public Sector Companies:
1. An entry application in the exporters register shall be submitted according to the form kept by GOEIC. This form should include any and all data related to the Subject Company or association and signed by its board chairman or its legal representative (should be consistent with the data inscribed in the Commercial Register).

2. A recent certified copy of the entry record in the current commercial register. The entry should list the executives who are authorized to manage and sign for the company and indicate the company’s type of activity. It shall also certify that activities of exportation, trading or production are part of the company’s business.

3. Official documents related to the incorporation of the association or company.
4. A record of the decree appointing members to the board of directors.

5. A declaration indicating that the person concerned was neither legally declared a bankrupt, nor previously registered. A declaration certifying that GOEIC was served notice on any amendment or change during 60 days from the date of its occurrence.

6. A statement specifying the official responsible for exportation.
7. An export-practicing certificate to be presented by the party assigned for exportation.

VI: Foreign Company Branches:
1- Entry application attached (original + copy)
2- Certified copy of the entry record in the Commercial Register stating the type of export activity
3- An export-practicing certificate to be presented by the party assigned for exportation and a statement naming the official responsible for exportation

Service-Providing Measure :
1. Documents required shall be submitted in accordance with Law No. 118/1975.
2. Documents shall be examined for verification purposes.
3. Documents shall undergo technical revision.
4. Auditing and fee-collection.
5. Cards shall be copied.
6. Cards shall be examined.
7. Receipt of cards.
8. Archiving of records.
9. Card information entered in the computer

Time Span Required for the Completion of Service :
48 hours from the date of submitting complete documents
