Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Georgia has launched e-Visa portal allowing tourists and business visitors to get a short term visa in effortless way.

Prospective travelers have a possibility to obtain a tourist or business visa without visiting Georgian Embassy or Consular Office, following three simple steps: applying, making online payment and printing out ready e-Visa.
Applying for a visa through this portal has lots of advantages. No need to make an appointment or present original documents to the Embassy or Consular Office.
An e-Visa can be obtained easily anywhere with an internet connection and it grants the same right to enter Georgian territory as ordinary sticker-visa in the passport.
All you need is internet connection, credit or debit card and scanned copies of your documents.
Depending on nationality, there may be different requirements. In some cases holding a valid Schengen or OECD member countries visa or residence permit is mandatory. You will be informed of these requirements after you select your country of travel document and travel dates.
You must be able to present all the required documents at Georgian state border.

** You can apply for e-Visa only in case if you are not on the territory of Georgia.
** Please, select country of citizenship according to your travel document/passport.
** Please, note that validity of your travel document/passport should extend at least for three months after the validity of requested Georgian visa.
** The stateless person must select the country according to the travel document.
** In case of dual citizenship, please, choose the country according to the travel document/passport which you will be using for traveling to Georgia.
** Please, note that you are eligible for the e-Visa only if you hold one of the travel documents/passports listed in the appropriate section.
** You can obtain e-Visa only if you are travelling with the purpose of tourism or Business.
** Attention! The information provided by you will be checked at the border crossing points of Georgia. If you provide incorrect information your e-Visa will be invalid and you will be refused to enter Georgia.

What is an e-Visa?
E-Visa is an easiest way to get permit of entry into and travel within the territory of Georgia for the purpose of short stay. All you need to do is to complete the online application form and pay with your credit/debit card instead of applying through Georgian Embassy. After receiving your Visa through email, print it out and bring it along when you travel to Georgia.
How long does it take to get my e-Visa?
It takes not less then 5 working days to make a decision on a visa application .
Who is eligible for e-Visa?
Aliens traveling for short-term purposes are eligible for the e-Visa. For more information click on ‘Apply’ button on the Main Page and select the country according to your travel document/passport.
I do not have a supporting document, what should I do?
If you do not hold a supporting document, you must continue registration without filling out information about supporting document. Make sure you leave all fields in this section unfilled.
Do I have to obtain a visa if I do not leave the international transit area?
No. You do not have to obtain a visa if you are not going to leave the international transit area.
