Paying Your Bill:

New Mexico Gas Company offers a variety of payment options that best fit your budget and lifestyle.

For customers who prefer to pay their bills by mail or in person, we provide return envelopes to enclose your check and payment stub.

At Manage My Account, you’ll find a variety of online payment options to choose from.

Pay in Person:
In addition to our 22 business offices, there are about 200 payment locations across the state to pay in person, including drop boxes at participating Wells Fargo branches. You can also pay by cash or check at participating Western Union locations for a small fee.

We offer nearly 200 locations across the state where you can pay your natural gas bill in person.

When making your payment, please have your New Mexico Gas Company payment stub available and include your account number on your check or money order.

Please Note: If you get a notice of disconnection of service for nonpayment, please take your payment in person to one of our Business Offices or a participating Western Union location. If you pay by 6 p.m. on the date noted on your Disconnect notice, you can make your payment at Western Union and your payment will be credited to your account in time to avoid disconnect. If you wait until the day your disconnect is scheduled to make a payment at Western Union, please be sure to call us at 505-697-3335 (Albuquerque Metro) or toll free at 888-NM-GAS-CO (888-664-2726) before making your payment.

Please do not mail or put your payment in a Wells Fargo drop box if you have received a notice that your service is to be disconnected.

One-Time Electronic Payment :
You can make a free one-time gas payment electronically from your checking or savings account. Payments made by 6 pm (MST) will be credited to your account for the next business day.

Automatic Payment :
Have your natural gas bills automatically deducted from your designated account monthly.

Electronic Bill Paying :
Most banks and credit unions offer online bill paying, making it easy to pay your bills electronically, including your New Mexico Gas Company bill, without having to write a check each month. You’ll still get a paper copy of your natural gas bill from New Mexico Gas Company for your records.

One-Time Card Payments :
To make a one-time payment using an e-check, or credit, check or debit (ATM) card by phone or online, this service is offered by Western Union for a $2.50 transaction fee.

If you need to make a payment quickly, you can make a payment to your New Mexico Gas Company account using one of these options:
** Credit or Check card (Visa, MasterCard, Discover or Amex)
** ATM Card (with a PULSE, STAR, NYCE, ACCEL logo)
** E-check or paperless check

Please Note:
This link is only for paying your New Mexico Gas Company bill online. If you visit other company Western Union websites, such as for PNM, remember your payment will not be credited to your New Mexico Gas Company account.

The Gift of Heat:
If you’ve received a VISA or MasterCard gift card, you can use all or part of it to pay your New Mexico Gas Company bill. Or, you can help someone pay their heating bill by giving them a prepaid VISA or MasterCard gift card, available at retailer kiosks. A natural gas bill payment using one of these gift cards can be made online through Western Union or by calling us at 505-697-3335 (Albuquerque Metro) or toll free at 888-NM-GAS-CO (888-664-2726) and our Customer Service Representatives will be happy to help make the transaction for you.

Western Union charges a $2.50 fee for each transaction. Fees are subject to change. New Mexico Gas Company does not receive any portion of this fee.

Budget Billing :
We offer a free program to help our customers manage their budgets. Our Budget Billing program evens out your monthly bills so you pay the same amount each month.

Third-Party Notification :
Our Third-Party Notification plan allows us to notify a third party if a customer’s account is more than 30 days past due, or if the customer is at risk of having their service disconnected.

Payment Plans :
If you are low income, elderly, disabled or have other special circumstances, you may be eligible for an extended payment plan and other assistance programs.

If you believe an account has been opened in your name without your consent or knowledge, we urge you to file an identity theft claim with us.
