Get an estimate of what your State Pension is likely to be when you reach State Pension age.

Great Britain changed the law to introduce a new State Pension for men and women who will reach State Pension age on or after 6 April 2016.
The changes to State Pension are not yet law in Northern Ireland.
If the Northern Ireland Assembly passes similar legislation, these changes will be made here and would apply to:
** men born on or after 6 April 1951
** women born on or after 6 April 1953
Get a state pension statement online:
Whether or not you can get a State Pension statement online will depend on a number of factors including when you will reach State Pension age and when you were born.
Reaching state pension age before 6 April 2016:
If you reach State Pension age before 6 April 2016, you can get a State Pension statement online if you:
** live in the UK
** are more than four months away from State Pension age
** are not widowed or someone whose civil partner has died
Women over 60 need to re-register each time they use the online service.
You can’t save a copy of your State Pension statement if you get it online, but you can print it out.

Reaching state pension age on or after 6 April 2016:
If you reach State Pension age on or after 6 April 2016 and were born on or after 6 April 1969 you can get a State Pension statement online or in the post.
If you reach State Pension age on or after 6 April 2016 and were born between 6 April 1951 and 5 April 1969 you can get a Statement by post.
Get a state pension statement by post:
You can also get a statement by completing an application form (BR19) and sending it to the Future Pension Centre if you are more than thirty days away from State Pension age.
You can contact the Future Pension Centre to get a State Pension statement or send an application form
If you’re over State Pension age or less than 30 days away from it, you can’t get a State Pension statement. You’ll need to contact the Northern Ireland Pension Centre to get an estimate.

Make sure you have your National Insurance number, as telephone advisors will need this information to access your NI record
Information you will need to apply for a State Pension statement:
You will need the following information to apply for a State Pension statement:
** your full name, date of birth and current address
** your National Insurance (NI) number
** details of the types of NI contributions you are paying (this depends, for example, on whether you are employed or self-employed)
** details of any time you have spent working outside the UK
** details of your current salary if you are paid by an employer (rather than self-employed)
