Register with us today:
In order to take full advantage of this service offered to employers by the Department of Employment and Learning please select the ‘Register’ option in the ‘Register with us today!’ box from the Home Page and then complete steps 1 to 3 to record your registration and branch details. When complete the system will send the following emails:

** An acknowledgement of your registration
** A second will be sent to notify you of the activation of your account
Log in to Employers Online NI:
When you have completed your Registration you will receive an email containing your User ID. Only upon receipt of the second email to notify the activation of your account will you be able to use the site. Using the User ID and your password you can log in into Employers Online NI using the Log In button and start to create vacancies on the system.
Problems Logging In:
Forgotten User ID:
If you have forgotten your User ID, you must contact the Employers Online NI Support team via the telephone number, 02890 252396, in order to answer the security question selected during registration.
When the security question has been answered correctly an email containing the User ID will be sent to the email address initially registered.
Forgotten Password:
Fill in the information in the Password Security table correctly and your password will be sent to you via email.
Information Pages:
When you have completed your Registration you will receive an email containing your User ID. Only upon receipt of a second email to notify the activation of your account will you be able to access the site functionality. Using the User ID and your password you can log in into Employers Online NI using the Log In button and start to create vacancies on the system.

Registration Help:
Please complete the registration process to allow us to verify and authenticate your details and be able to add vacancies online. Once completed this will allow vacancies created on Employers Online NI to be displayed on www.jobcentreonline.com and touch screen JobPoints in all our offices.
The registration process has three steps:
** Complete the registration details
** All fields marked with an asterisk * are mandatory and must be completed
** Please check the Terms & Conditions tick box before you click Next to move to Step 2 of registration.
** Complete the Branch Account information
** Enter contact details for employers office/branch, name address, telephone numbers
** Registration Complete.
** An email will be sent to you acknowledging your registration and a second sent upon activation of your account.
My Profile Help:
Use the My Profile option from the Navigation Bar to make amendments, changes or additions to the Registration, Employer, Branch Accounts, Logins or Uploaded Forms Details. On screen help section is provided on the left of this page to guide you through the process.
Edit Registration Details:
Amend the employer registration details, i.e. email address, password, security question and answer.
Edit Employer Details:
Amend the employer details, i.e. employer name, business description and the total number of employees.
Edit Branch Accounts:
Create, Edit or remove branch accounts
When the branch accounts are being amended the ‘Actions’ status will reflect the stage in the process for the account. See ‘My Profile Help’ on the left of the screen for details
Edit Logins:
Control who in your company has access to vacancy management. Add more people, delete others.
Edit Application & Monitoring Form Details:
Upload forms, add others, and remove others as needed.
Create Vacancy:
You create vacancies by entering details of a new vacancy or copying an existing vacancy. It is also possible to modify or update the vacancy details as required. All new or amended vacancies are then submitted for approval and publication.
When the vacancy is submitted it is checked and verified by the Online Support Team who will clarify any issues with employers and approve for publication.
New Vacancy:
** To create a new vacancy, once logged in, select the ‘Vacancies List’ from the Navigation bar.
** Click on the ‘Create’ button and complete the fields on the Vacancy Detail page ensuring that the mandatory fields marked with an asterisk are completed.
** On screen Help is available by clicking the Help button on the Vacancy Detail Page.
** Click the ‘Submit ‘or ‘Save for later’ ‘button when all details have been input to complete the vacancy creation.
** If saved for later, once logged in, select the ‘Vacancies List’ from the Navigation bar. The saved for later vacancy has the status ‘Raised’.
** Click on the ‘Edit’ button to complete the outstanding fields on the Vacancy Detail pages ensuring that the mandatory fields marked with an asterisk are completed.
** Click the ‘Submit ‘ or ‘Save for later’ ‘ button when all details have been input to complete the vacancy creation. If saved for later check the ‘Select’ column for the vacancy on the ‘Vacancies List’ page and then click the ‘Submit’ button to submit the vacancy for approval.
Edit Vacancy:
** To change some detail of an approved vacancy on the Vacancies List page check the ‘Select’ column of the vacancy.
** Click on the ‘Edit’ button and this will open a Vacancy Detail page with the completed vacancy fields.
** Make any changes as required
** Click the ‘Submit ‘or ‘Save for later’ ‘button when all details have been input to complete the vacancy creation.
** If saved for later, once logged in, select the ‘Vacancies List’ from the Navigation bar. The saved for later vacancy has the status ‘Raised’.
** Click on the ‘Edit’ button to complete the outstanding fields on the Vacancy Detail pages ensuring that the mandatory fields marked with an asterisk are completed.

Copy Vacancy:
** To copy a vacancy on the Vacancies List page, once logged in, check the ‘Select’ column of the vacancy.
** Click on the ‘Copy’ button this will open a Vacancy Detail page with the completed vacancy fields.
** Make any changes as required.
** Click the ‘Submit ‘or ‘Save for later’ button when all details have been input.
** Click the ‘Submit ‘or ‘Save for later’ ‘button when all details have been input to complete the vacancy creation.
** If saved for later, once logged in, select the ‘Vacancies List’ from the Navigation bar. The saved for later vacancy has the status ‘Raised’.
** Click on the ‘Edit’ button to complete the outstanding fields on the Vacancy Detail pages ensuring that the mandatory fields marked with an asterisk are completed.
** Click the ‘Submit ‘ or ‘Save for later’ ‘ button when all details have been input to complete the vacancy creation If saved for later check the ‘Select’ column for the vacancy on the ‘Vacancies List’ page and then click the ‘Submit’ button to submit the vacancy for approval.
Preview Vacancy:
Before the Vacancy is submitted it can be viewed by checking the ‘Select’ column and using the ‘Preview’ button. This will show the vacancy as is will appear to the public on www.JobCentreOnline.com.
Vacancies List:
When you log in to Employers Online NI the Vacancies List page will display all the vacancies submitted online in order of closing date.
There are a number of Vacancies List search options available to employers.
** Search by Job Ref
** Search by Vacancy Status
** Search by Branch
** Search by New Applications
Before the Vacancy is submitted it can be viewed by checking the ‘Select’ column and using the ‘Preview’ button. This will show the vacancy as is will appear in www.JobCentreOnline.com.
Vacancy Detail:
In addition to the job details fields the following fields will display application information:
** No. of Applicants : shows the number of applications received for the vacancy
** New Applications : latest applications received for the vacancy
** Online Applications : shows if the application has been received as an Online CV or Online Application form
** CMS Submissions’: names of people applying through any of our offices.
** A prompt will also be displayed to indicate where there are new applications not displayed on the Vacancies List view
Online Application Help:
When an Online Application has been received for a vacancy the Vacancies List will show the number of applicants and provide a View option in the Online Application column to display the application form or CV. Select the View button in the Online Application column to display the Application List for the Vacancy.
The banner displayed on the Application List for each vacancy has the following fields:
** Job Title
** Job Ref
** Job Location
The Application details displayed for each applicant are as follows:
** Applicants Name
** Contact details
** Application Method
The Application Method will show the application format received for the vacancy. Each application can then be viewed by selecting the Online CV or Online Application button from the application method column.
CMS Submissions:
When a vacancy has reached its closing date and its status changes to Pending Outcome you will be able view the names of people applying through any of our offices in the ‘CMS Submissions’ column. Select the View button in the column to display the list for the vacancy. We would ask you to record the outcome of their application by selecting from the drop down list and inputting text in the box provided if necessary. Other successful applicants can be notified to us in the spaces provided. We are only interested in finding out about our priority customers i.e. people who were unemployed before being successful with your job.
