In order to use the eRegister, Go to the official website of South African Nursing Council and Click the eRegister link in the left side menu.
Then click the link to start the eRegister system
Requirements
eRegister is a free to use application available to any Internet user. You will obviously need a computer (or other device) with a connection to the Internet.
Your computer/device must have a suitable web browser program such as Microsoft Internet Explorer, Netscape Navigator, Firefox, etc. Most computers/devices that meet these requirements should be able to access eRegister without further adjustment.
Using eRegister :
eRegister has been designed to be as simple to use as possible. If you read the instructions on each screen, and follow them, you should not have any difficulty.
Take a moment to read through the Help page before getting started as it contains additional information to assist you. Please read all notes boxes carefully – they contain important information about the information displayed using eRegister.
How to Use SANC eRegister?
In order to use the eRegister, you must read and accept the conditions of use displayed above.
Step 1 : Click I accept the conditions button to view the eRegister web page
Step 2 : Enter SANC Number OR SA Identity Number [12345678]
Step 3 : Click the Find button
SANC Number :
** Each nurse is uniquely identified by means of his or her South African Nursing Council (SANC) Number.
** This number consists of eight digits and always starts with a “1”
** SANC Number is the ONLY way that all practitioners can be positively identified in the eRegister.
SA Identity Number :
eRegister contains the SA Identity Number of over 95% of practitioners – those who have provided certified copies of their identity documents to the Nursing Council.
If You Have Problems Using eRegister :
Please remember that your own PC and its software can be the cause of problems with this application. So too can your Internet connection and all the communication links in between your computer and the Council’s server.
If you do have problems, please try to see if you get the same results on another computer OR at a later time.
If you still have any difficulty using eRegister, please take careful note of any error message shown. If the error message does not help, take a moment or two to read the Help page and also the Frequently Asked Questions to see if you can solve the problem. It is important that you supply the following information when reporting a problem:
** Computer Operating System (e.g. Windows 7 Professional)
** Browser name and version (e.g. Internet Explorer 9.0)
** Full description of the problem
Tip:
If you have been using eRegister and stop using it for some time, it will time-out your session. When you try to continue, you will be taken back to the Conditions of Use page and you will have to start over. This is normal operation and does not mean that the system has a problem.

Am I registered for 2020?
I am worried, I have not received my sanc receipt, I paid in 2018.
I paid for Sanc for 2018, but haven't got my certificate. I lost my documents which you wanted me to fax to you as proof of payment through the fire. Kindly check with the bank FNB Newcastle. Please I really need my Sanc number.
