DNRD Electronic Passport Renewal Request

This service allows the customer to apply electronic passport renewal.

Procedures

Required Documents:
1. The expired passport.
2. One (1) recent personal photo as per the specifications for passport holder.
3. The original nationality card and its copy.
4. ID card.
5. Fees payment receipt issued from the bank in the sector.

Fees

AED (55) Fees for replacement of passport, its breakdown is as follows:
1. AED (40) Federal fees.
2. AED (5) Administrative services fees.
3. AED (10) Application fees.

Additional Info:
The photo for electronic passport should be as follows:
1. One colored photo (1).
2. Clear and free of shadows.
3. Natural colors and eyes are opened and clear.
4. Glasses should not reflect the lights and lenses are not colored and do not cover any part of the eyes.
5. It is allow to wear headscarf and Gotra but without changing the general appearance, nor the basic features of the face.
6. With regards to children, the child has to appear in the photo alone, without people or chairs and with natural facial expression and mouth closed.
7. If the passport was issued from other Emirate, the original Nationality card or a copy of the same has to be submitted.
8. Passport validity for (5) years from the date of issue.
9. Time needed for this transaction (Issuance of passport) (1) one working day
10. Fees payment receipt issued from the bank in the sector.
11. The original receipt should presented when passport is received.

Renewal of PRO card for private sector or free zone :
Description :
** This area explains the procedures followed in the department for the service of Renewal of PRO card for private sector or free zone
Required Documents :
For PRO of UAE national :
1. Fill request for PRO card.
2. Old PRO card.
3. Color photos fixed on request.
4. Certificate of good conduct from police headquarters – Dubai (valid).

5. Passport copy of the PRO, and e-gate for citizens of Gulf Cooperation Council.
6. Copies of establishment cards (valid).
7. Copy of business licenses.
8. Copy of the addendum of names of partners from the Department of economic development if a company is (LLC.).
9. Letter from one of the partners stating the years of issuance of the card.

For resident PRO :
1. Fill request for PRO card.
2. Old PRO card.
3. Color photos fixed on request.

4. Certificate of good conduct from police headquarters – Dubai (valid).
5. Passport copy of the PRO, with the resident page for the residents.
6. Copies of establishment cards (valid).

7. Copy of business licenses.
8. Copy of the addendum of names of partners from the Department of economic development if a company is (LLC.).
9. Letter from one of the partners stating the years of issuance of the card..

Additional Info :
If the license of the establishment added on the PRO card (individual), and the owner of the liscense is :
1. a company within the State, one must bring a copy of the license owner.

2. If a license owner is (LLC.) , one must bring the addendum of the names of the partners from the economic department or tourist company to identify the owner/partner citizen license.

3. If the file of the resident PRO is subject to the department directly, he is entitled to issue the card from one to three years.
4. If the file of resident PRO is subject to the Ministry of labour, he is entitled to issue the card from one to two years.

5. Fine of delay is calculated (50) starting from 1/1/2012 under Executive Board decision No. (3) 2012 on adoption local fees and fines. Fine of delay is calculated (100) from the date of 1-8-2014 under the cabinet decision (22) of 2014 on organization and development of the services sector of naturalization and residency at Ministry of Interior 0
