Permanent Residence/ Resident Stamp Application :
Processing of Permanent Residence applications:
Please refer to the Revised Regulations of Anguilla: 15-3
** Applications for Permanent Residence can be collected at the Immigration Main Office.
** A processing fee of EC$1,000.00 is charged.
** Renewal fee is EC$1,000.00

Processing of Resident Stamp applications:
The Resident Stamp is issued to persons who are children of an Anguillian/Belonger or if married to an Anguillian/Belonger.
An application for Residence Stamp must be completed and submitted to the Immigration Department.
The applicant would need to submit supporting documents such as:
1. Marriage Certificate
2. Passport
3. Birth Certificate
4. Divorce Decree
5. Photographs
Resident Stamp fees have been changed as of May 1, 2007
The new fees are as follows:
** For processing first time applications EC$200.00
** For grant of Resident Stamp EC$300.00
** For processing renewal of Residence Stamp EC$ 50.00
** For grant of renewal of Resident Stamp EC$200.00
Processing of Extension of Stay applications :
** Persons needing to extend their stay in Anguilla must collect and complete an Extension of Stay Form 1-1 application.
** A photo must be submitted with the application along with a passport and an itinerary.
** As of May 1, 2007, the fee for Extension of stay has increased to EC$150.00.
** The fee for persons requesting multiple month extensions will be pro-rated based on the number of months applied.
** Upon the expiration of the extended time, the visitor must leave the island
Endorsement of Work Permit Stamps :
** Persons must submit their Work Permit (Form C), along with a photo and passport.

Processing Of Belonger Status Applications :
** Persons must complete and submit an application for Belonger Status.
** Application forms can be collected at the Immigration Main Office or downloaded our forms page.
There are three ways in which belonger status may be obtained detailed below :
** by Virtue of Parents being born in Anguilla or Belongers of Anguilla
** by Virtue Of Marriage For Five (5) Years To An Anguillian / Belonger Of Anguilla
** by Virtue Of Marriage For Three (3) Years To An Anguillian / Belonger Of Anguilla
** by Fifteen (15) Years Of Residence In Anguilla
Documents Required For The Determination Of Belonger Status By Virtue Of Parent(S) Being Born In Anguilla Or Belongers Of Anguilla :
** Two (2) passport size photographs
** Original and photocopies of the relevant documents, with English translation where applicable
** Birth Certificate of applicant (please ensure that father’s name is included)
** Mother’s / Father’s birth certificate
** Marriage Certificate (if parents were married at the time of birth)
** Belonger Certificate
** Treasury receipt for the sum of EC one hundred and fifty dollars (EC$150.00 non-refundable) evidencing payment of the processing fee.
NB: Section B of the application form must be completed
Documents Required For The Determination For Belonger Status By Virtue Of Marriage For Five (5) Years To An Anguillian / Belonger Of Anguilla :
** Two (2) passport size photographs
** Original and photocopies of the relevant documents, with English translation where applicable.
** Birth Certificate
** Marriage Certificate
** Spouse’s Birth Certificate / Naturalization Certificate / Copy of Anguillian passport/ Copy of Belonger certificate
Documents Required For The Determination For Belonger Status By Virtue Of Marriage For Three (3) Years To An Anguillian / Belonger Of Anguilla :
** Two (2) passport size photographs
** Original and photocopies of the relevant documents, with English translation where applicable
** Birth certificate
** Marriage Certificate
** Spouse’s Birth Certificate / Naturalization Certificate / Copy of Anguillian Passport / Copy of Belonger Certificate
** Police Certificate of Character
** Health Certificate
** Treasury receipt for the sum of EC one hundred and fifty dollars (EC$150.00 non-refundable) evidencing payment of the processing fee.
Documents Required For The Grant Of Belonger Status By Fifteen (15) Years Of Residence In Anguilla :
** Two (2) passport size photographs
** Original and photocopies of the relevant documents, with English translation where applicable
** Two (2) passport size photographs
** Original and photocopies of the relevant documents, with English translation where Applicable
** Birth Certificate
** Police Certificate
** Health Certificate
** Sworn Affidavit from a Notary Public stating the average time spent in Anguilla for each year within the 15 years period.
** Old passports, work permit, etc..,
** Affidavits from two (2) Anguillians of good repute, who have known the applicant residing in Anguilla for the period claimed.
** Details of business association (eg. Company details, including financial statements, audited company accounts and details of ownership and source of investment funds)
** Treasury receipt for the sum of one hundred and fifty dollars (EC$150.00 non-refundable) evidencing payment of the processing fee.
