Request for Issuing Tax Domicile Certificate:
What is Residence Tax Certificate?:
It is a certificate issued to take advantage of double taxation avoidance agreements signed by the UAE.
Requirements for TAX Residence Certificate:(COMPANIES)
1) Trade license.
2) Lease contract.
3) Copy of the passport and residence of the company director.
4) Request Letter from the company.
5) Bank statement for the last 6 months (Note: license should be valid for more than a year)
6) 5000 + 3 Dirham fees paid via e-dirham Card.
7) Audited financial accounts
Requirements for TAX Residence Certificate:(PERSONAL)
1) Passport copy and valid visa copy.
2) Request Letter from the person
3) Bank statement for the last 6 months.
4) Source of income with attested certificate.
5) Certificate from the sponsor stating the individual activity and source of income.

What is the payment steps?
To complete the payment make sure you have the E-dirham card with balance of 1003 AED, and 8 digit passcode, please follow the below steps :
** Login to MOF portal from here
** Go to task list
** You will find your application there
** Click on the application
** Scroll down to bottom of the page
** Fill the comment box
** Click on submit
** Follow the payment wizard.
** After payment, please follow the steps from 1-3 and make sure that there is no tasks left. If you face any problem in payment contact 800663 (e-dirham support center). ???
Requirements for TAX Residence Certificate :
Companies :
** A copy of the trade license and partners’ attachment.
** Establishment contract certified by official authorities (if it is not a Sole Company).
** A copy of the company’s owners/partners/directors’ passports
** A copy of the company’s owners/partners/directors’ IDs
** A copy of the company’s owners/partners/directors’ permits of residence
** A certified copy of the audited financial accounts
** A validated 6-month bank statement
** A certified copy of the lease agreement.
** Tax forms (if any) from the country in which the certificate is to be submitted.
Fees: 10,000 Dirhams + 3 Dirhams, paid through e-Dirham Card
Notes :
** The offshore companies are not allowed to apply to the service because they are not listed in the TAX domicile agreements.
** The company general manager or the company owner must have a valid UAE residence visa, otherwise, the application will be rejected.
Individuals :
** Copy of the passport.
** Copy of valid Residential ID.
** A certified copy of (residential) lease agreement.
** Source of income/Salary certificate.
** A validated 6-month bank statement
** A report from the General Directorate of Residency and Foreigners Affairs specifying the number of days the resident has stayed in the UAE.
** Tax forms (if any) from the country in which the certificate is to be submitted.
Fees: 2,000 Dirhams + 3 Dirhams, paid through e-Dirham Card
