Renewal of Certificate of Competence (CoC) Request :

After issue of his/her ATC Licence, the Licence Holder is required to ensure that he/she applies for the renewal of his Coca before expiry of the Coca.

As per the regulation Coca is valid for 12 months, if not suspended or invalided by other applicable requirements such Medical and English Language Proficiency requirements. This service has been settled to facilitate the issue of a new CoC after completion of the currency requirements.

Procedure
Application:
The Applicant shall submit all documents required for the privilege the applicant is seeking (as per CAR PART VIII – Subpart 4 – Appendix 3).

Review:
The GCAA will review the documents submitted and verify if compliance with the CAR is achieved. The GCAA will ensure that the privilege the applicant is seeking can be re-granted to him/her.

Issue of ATC Licence:
The GCAA will only issue an ATC Licence with the new validity of the Coca, when the GCAA is completely satisfied that all regulatory have been adequately addressed.

Delivery of ATC Licence:
Collection shall be at GCAA Dubai Office as informed by the GCAA.

Record:
The Applicant will provide all documents required for filing purposes.

Required Documents:
Certificate of Competence dated, signed by all parties and stamped by Unit Management (LIF-ATC-003 form – available through e-Service from a link)

One recent colour photograph with white background 3.0 x 3.5 cm (Attach .gif, .png, .jpg or .jpeg file only)

Fees Details:
200 AED

Access and Delivery Time:
12 working days or 5 working days for Fast Track

User Guide :
1. New Organizations are required to register for eservices to create an account
2. Log into GCAA website .gcaa.gov.ae
3. Click on the Eservices on the Menu bar indicated by the number 1

4. You can click on the Service catalogue (2) or any service group e.g. Airworthiness (3) tab. The Service Catalogue tab will take you to a list of eservices within the GCAA, while the Airworthiness tab will filter only the eservices within the Airworthiness department.

5. The Service Catalogue will take you to the Services Catalogue page with a list of all eservices.

6. Filter eservices by entering service name on “Type service Name or Keyword”.
7. Click on the View Service Card to view the requirements of each of the services or you can directly click “Access Service” link to enter into the services area for application.

8. On pressing the “Access Service” link on service catalogue page it will open the application status inquiry page (update/review pending approval) i.e. second tab by default where you can track/view your previously submitted application status.

9. On pressing the “first Tab” link it will open the application form.
10. On order to Attach any Document, following below process to be followed.
