New Online Booking Service:
Holders of Hong Kong Identity Card with full driving licences still valid or expired for not over three years on the chosen appointment date can use this new service to book an appointment at a nearby Licensing Office to submit the international driving permit applications.

Documents to Take to Your Appointment:
When attending your appointment, you should take the completed application form for international driving permit (TD51) and other required documents as set out in TD51. The form TD51 can be downloaded from the link provided below, obtained by fax through the Transport Department’s customer service hotline at 2804 2600 or fetched in person at one of the Licensing Offices.

How do I know I have successfully made a valid appointment?:
After you enter all requested information, the Appointment Booking Service will ask you to confirm whether the information is correct and if so, whether you wish to receive an appointment confirmation by fax or email.

After making appointment, is there anything else that I should do for confirmation?:
No re-confirmation is required after an appointment booking is confirmed.
